This is my opinion on the amount of buffs that an attacker should get. The buffs should be a minimal amount if any is given at all. My 82 mil toon should never get beaten by a 40 mil power player. But not only did I get beat, I recieved a crushing defeat and did not kill a single one of their heros. This was the first move of the GW not after durability was worn down. Simple B to A and I got destroyed by a player with 1/2 my power. In that one move, that same player then beat 3 or 4 other people more than twice their power and never died. Even with the maximum amount of buffs, this should never happen.

Then when that guild moved into G, we saw a player with 11.7 mil power beat a player with 209 mil power. A guild with maybe 10 active players, mowed down a group of 32 players that were in that city defending. Like I said before, even with maximum buffs allowable, (holding all cities etc.) this should not happen. What I see happening is Tynon is taking city buffs away from the largest group of players on the server and giving them away to a small minority of players.

In my experience on several servers, many times this minority usually is composed of griefers and people that noone wants in their guild cuz they are trouble makers. I keep hearing about servers that still have several large guilds, but I havnt been lucky enough to see that yet.

On one of my other servers, I see this to an even more extreme level. 1 player, yes that is 1 player, holds 2 cities now due to the ridiculous buffs. He is a griefer that noone wants in their guild, and now he is able to grief even more by taking cities away from 20-30 mains defending that city using his 1 main and about 10 alts around 2mil power.

I understand about wanting to even out GW. But truthfully, GW was even at the start of the server. Server jumpers left when they couldnt dominate and people that got along well with others merged together and made strong factions, while griefers always find a way to aggravate others and usually end up alone or with a small group of people. Now this is another to way to empower the jerks and give away the city buffs to the minority population of the servers. In my opinion, it looks alot like a socialist redistribution of wealth to me.

Let me put it another way. I have logged on every single day since the server opened. I have never missed a GW or scored less than 100% on assistant. Now I see that hard work being given away to griefers, casual gamers, and crybabies. What motivation is there for me to continue to play this game if my hard work means nothing when I enter GW?
YOu see a 40m beating an 82m is fine with me but then mowin through 3 more players is a bit much

I agree a 11m player beating a 200m pl;ayer is ridiculous and should not happen How is that balanced?

I have only one other post on this forum, but wanted to get my 2 cents in. I am on a server with an uber-guild and quite a few active guilds working to improve. We have 3 realms. I am the highest powered player on one of the realms. The uber-guild has owned all cities for quite a few months now. GW is a B go to A 30 seconds almost every night for months for every guild. Often times we will have 10-20 even 30 players on GW and face 2 or 3 from the uber-guild. Makes no difference, one shot battles. It is very difficult to get used to losing, especially with the winner heckling us on world afterwards. Many players have quit our guilds and joined the powerful guild. Recently the second most powerful quild was gutted when 5 of their most powerful players bolted and joined, leaving their most powerful player and 10-20 players under 10 million power. It was sad to see.

What is really remarkable to see is the progression these bolted players make once they join the uber guild. The progression is due to the GW city buffs, almost entirely the coin buff cities. I was just recently sunk by one of these players, some 5 million power lower than me (used to be 10-15 mil lower). I was surprised to say the least and checked their profile. They had 3 level 12 Vengeances and 2 level 12 Endurances and several level 11 Advantages. I have all level 10 equivalents. At a cost of some 450 million per rune to raise from level 10 to 12 I started to realize that the patience and hard work were not ever going to compete with the coinage these guys get. They are getting 40-50 even more than a 100 millon coins a day with equivalent credits. They spend hours in the rune temple every day; I take 15 minutes to spend my 15-20 million credits. On Tuesdays they buy 7 or 8 or more Dawnbringer cards with the credits they have, I save my credits and end up with 1 or 2 cards. We are being slowly smothered by the city buffs.

I am VIP 7, I am the highest powered at the lowest level player on the server, including the uber-guild, so you can stow this bs about you top quild guys doing all the hard work and all the spending. It is not gems that are the diffence in this game it is the coins and credits. Sure you get stars with gems, and no I don't buy stars except in Lab and Fair, but the use of high level runes, the ability to buy sancs with credits is the difference. It leads to wins in GWs which leads to more players joining which leads to sinking all the boats, and leads to billion coin Cerbs and Baals. Out realm shares 5 to 25 million coins in WB, the uber guild shares 125 million, twice a day every day.

So to say the least, I love the GW changes. We won a city first night, a coin city no less, we lost that ciy but won another, Kolten of course. We had 80% the 1st night, 60% the second, 50% tonight, probably 40% tomorrow. Then things wll balance out. The buff will not be strong enough to unseat the more powerful guild. They will not hold all 8 cities, they will hold 4 maybe 3. The world will look a lot nicer to us less powerful quilds. Perhaps we won't be so discouraged and stop thinking of quitting a useless cause.

Maybe, maybe not. It is already evident that there are only 3 cities that mean anything, the coin cities. I'm pretty sure when these GW changes finally reach a balance the uber quild will still have all 3 of these cities. Not complaining, just predicting. I have enjoyed these last couple of nights in GW, even though we lost last night.
See some servers this is going to work perfectly as is. BUt its not working for every server.
