Thread: Will these arrangements re-balance Guild Warfare and Championship Warfare?

no it would do nothing at all... the durability lose is too great, fix it.

think cwf needs some reduction system to crowns...like if someone dosnt win for 2 times he loses 1 crown, gwf could use some tweaking to the massive boosts and do -1 dura per win and -5 per loss...thinks the massive boosting is what balances it not the completely taking out players by alts

FUBARed Well congratulations Tynon... you win. I have decided that this issue is the last straw for me. Beaten down at every curve, this game has taken on a direction I am no longer willing to support. No reply here from any Devs.. obv this is not changing so happy trails. To quote Sally Fields; "Take this game and shove it!!"

The poll is until Match 28. I suggest you wait until then before coming to any conclusions.

Besides, the only Guild War cities that really matter are the npc 6, 7 and 8. Koleton and below won't really affect you that much.

    hmmm.
so you think an extra lab is worth more the 150% credit and coin bonus. Interesting thought process

It depends on the type of player and server.

The 150% bonus is only for the p.stone (+8-12m gold per day?), and for the shrine.
If you don't use the shrine, the npc 4s aren't really worth much.

For advanced servers, or for realms with the 1.25b banish, you won't even need to use the shrine that much anymore.
And the p.stone boost is laughable.

This bring up an interesting thought.

How about the buffs based on the level of the city? This way the higher level city you own (implying you are a more powerful guild) the opponent would get the appropriate buff). i.e. not all cities are equal in weight.

(Per city you own gives the % buff to the opponent)
    Level 3 city's gives 3% buff - each
    Level 4 city's gives 4% buff - each
    Level 5 city's gives 5% buff - each
Level 6 city gives 6% buff
Level 7 city gives 7% buff
Level 8 city gives 8% buff

Durability should be reduced to 1/2 as said by many others on the posting.

i am moving more to instead of half unless thats simpler to program durability should work like this

for every 10% of your total maximum HP you lose in a battle you lose 1 durability.
SO every time you die you will have lost a total of 10 durability. Meaning you have to DIE 10 times to be out of gwf - Instead of win 20 times.

The power buffs should only be 5% per city

There shouldn't be any power buffs per city. The whole point of this change was to force the bigger guilds into more tactics and skill. (At least I think that was the intended point, not to just force us to hand over cities like it seems) Punishing the guilds that use tactics and skill to gain cities is not right. Instead, I would suggest Tynon tweaks the power gain during the actual battle. By this I mean make all the camps in the war, neutral. Then give each camp a power buff of 5% or 10%. As the attackers go through and take camps they should gain more power than the 15% they do now. With this crazy durability loss, the defenders still cannot go B->A so you're still left with a fight.

What server are you on Herby? Cuz I have this sneaking suspicion that your guild owns all the buff cities and you get all your goodies. But you are happy to tell others to suck it up.
