I just checked on the Casino and it doesn't appear to be changed. Are you talking about the beta server?

i think you guys did a screw up dawn. we got mail on server 1 that the casino was now 5 gems, and it is indeed 5 gems a turn... but i haven't heard it being the case on any other live server yet.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of this until later on the thread, but it looks like we may be one of few or the only ones with this new casino version. Maybe it was meant for Beta?

this was my thinking too. we got lucky and screwed by this. lucky in the less gems, but i agree that they broke it. making it cheaper but greatly reducing the value of the items we get, like the stamina you mentioned, with the increase of chests... it makes it actually EASIER to now not spend gems on it cause you know it will be the chest 9/10 times...

When it was 20 gems per 100 tickets, and the winnings were great (with a large chance to lose out) I actually enjoyed it much more. Yes, it was more costly, but I was completely comfortable with it. In the end, I felt that it was worth the investment. I spent over 3k gems in the old casino the first two days, and 2k gems a few days later. I know that sounds like a large investment, but 1/2 of those gems were actually procured from the casino itself. My investment was more like 2000-2500 total, of which I was rewarded handsomely with Gems, several hundred medals, 40-50 tokens, countless millions of coins and credits and several hero cards, plus more.

With a 500 gem investment in the new casino (almost comparable in the amount of spins) I have received 1/100th of the rewards. Maybe not even that. The most I have gotten is 100 gems, once. The second best was 10 blue medals. the rest were 1k res or lotto chests with a lvl 1 chip.

I agree whole heartedly. They broke it. I hope this wasn't an update to appease a certain group of players, because it failed.

On Beta, there is no way to buy gems, so it makes sense that this nerfed version of the casino would work well there. It seems to me that it belongs on beta, but the old Casino belongs on live servers. Only problem is that I know people that have bought 50k chips (twice or more) already. It would be extremely upsetting if they kept those chips if they rolled the casino back. Talk about cashing in.

when we could glitch fb posts and get like 40 or 50 ammies a day for free
there would be days you would get a lot of great stuff and days you would get all crap. Granted teh days you got all crap were much more then the days you got a bunch of great stuff.

SO while I get exactly what deuc is saying, if its true bad call on the devs part. Maybe a compromise of going half way bewteen what you did originally and the change in terms of costs of chips and value of items.

But it could all just be RNG and after a few more days you could see the balance.

I heard in our meeting this morning that they are doing some tests with Casino to see if its more popular at the lower price. The tests are only on select servers.

what about the bugs we have that we dont get our rewards, stamina and purple medals i know for sure is bugged, lvl 1 chips seems to not be bugged

I logged on to get this mail today.

I then bought myself 90gems worth of casino chips (2000 Chips). They were 20 gems for 100 chips before. When they were 20 gems for 100 chips, the prizes were much better, and it seems so were the odds of landing on good, useful things. I have had a good time with the Casino each and everyday up till this patch.
I agree with the free spin, yes. That is a GOOD thing. Also, the bundling is great.
But, because the cost of 100 chips was lowered drastically, so were the prize stakes, amount of lotto chests, etc.
I spun 5k chips today and the best I got was 100 gems ONCE and a few tokens and the rest was level 1 chips or 1k credits.
I'd rather spend a heftier fee to play, and get really useful prizes, then have to spin 3 trillion times to get something Okayish...

That is just my opinion, and I'm sure many other folks love the change, and I can see how they would. I liked the chance of it before. It was my guilty pleasure up until today.

I remembered back when it was 20 gems, I got 20,000 reputation and a Dawnbringer card.
