Thread: A Thank You

    A Thank You

I would like to thank the devs and Dawn who takes some of our ideas to them

These last set of patches have been wonderful.

    New RA heroes
    2nd sub slot
New HR bosses that are actually a challenge but not ridiculous
The casino with a free spin
raising level cap (not sure why it only went to 115 when we have level 120 rewards icon)
    raising bs/talent caps
Attempting to make GWF more interesting
    Increasing GWF rewards
Raising the cap of Defense runes to 12
    Mounts do something

These are all marvelous updates to the Game taht many of us have been wanting for quite a while.

Now of course with the patches comes issues:
GWF disconnects - which have been fixed quickly
arena chests are broke imo- not fixed as of yet
weird prices in fair - which was fixed quickly
defensive runes give a smaller increase from 10-11 and 11 -12 them form 1-2 - This might be intentional but either way it seems silly- they should at least be equal to the increases at lower levels given the costs
too many horses around boros hunter
even more icons to get in our way
the mount icons are of a unicorn that we cant buy - just give me a unicorn already
AND THE MOST ANNOYING CHANGE Sirius gear now only give 95 morale retention and judgement only gives 90. - This imo was just wrong - wrong - wrong! we have all been working towards sirius gear and now you nerf it. REVERT IT BACK PLEASE!

So overall I have to give the dev team an A- but still thats outstanding

SO with all these changes I have 2 concerns about the future of the game for the devs to consider

    1. Banish. with the raise in Bs/talents and the 2nd sub slot - The cap on all banishes should be completely removed ASAP. It is not needed with all the coin sinks we have now between mounts, feeding, level 12 runes.level 115 bs/talent caps, etc

    2. The game started out with swift and fast progression. But once you get to a certain point progress is much slower. Then after another point it gets slower, then slower some more. After a certain point most players progress slower then a snail which leads to boredom. Now I understand that things cant be developed as fast as we progress. But consider this. Players would rather be bored because they did everything there is to do, then because of artificial glass ceilings.

I for one would like to see more speed ups available for loyal customers who have stuck with this game for so long.
    For example:
VIP levels can get you access to open more BS/.talent cues for 200/400 gems. I would suggest as a level 100 reward an extra talent cue and at level 110 an extra black smith cue be opened for coins. This would have nothing to do with VIP cues. so say a vip who has all 5 talent/blacksmith cues paid for and open can get a 6th for say 500m coins/credits each or a non vip player at those levels can buy their 3rd for 500m coins/credits each

Guild Level 8 has no cool down- when you click upgrade you can immediately go after the final city - if your guild has been around long enough to upgrade that far you shouldnt have to wait 2 more months to get the city. Guild levels are backwards with cool downs compared to everything else. You get the reward after the cool down.

A new guild tech is added that can reduce cool down times for bs/talent available at science museum level 6

Increase the value of items in guild chests based on player level. So for example instead of a level 110 player getting level 1 chips from a gold chest they get level 3 or 4 chips. The higher your level the more experience and gold and credits you get from guild chests.

As you might notice I think there should more rewards for higher level players. That is the way alot of things in this game work, but I feel that there is room for improvement. When you have to earn 74.6m exp to get to level 111 you feel there should be more of a reward for hitting it then for getting from level 87-88. But there just doesnt seem to be. Maybe its just a point of view thing, maybe its not.

But overall Im very happy with the new patches and look forward to more. I hope that dawn takes my ideas and words to the devs and they consider them.

I agree with most of matt's posts. Very good points and summary there!

However, I think the Sirius set change is just fine. A skill attack every round seriously imbalances the whole game in so many levels.

I would also like more ways to earn xp for both the player and for the mounts.

Ok lets for the sake of a discussion agree 100 morale retention is bad for the game. - NOw Im not really agreeing with Herby, just following the logic out.

SO with 95 retained and then hit by herja you are down to 90. then hit by flav and down to 60. then herja buffs you back 33. Now you have 93 and cant skill unless you are also attacked by a physical attack.

Now take it to 100. instead of 95. you are at 98. Same net effect.

Now say its 100 retained and you no longer use herja - because that is logical to do as well. YOu have 100 retained you get hit by flav and herja from opponent and your down to 65 - even being hit by a physical attack does not get you a skill every round

SO herby please give me the example of where 100 morale retention is different then 95 to the point of imbalancing the game. And I would ask you limit this to PvP becuase and imbalance suggested in PvE is immaterial because all players would have teh same advantage of earning sirius gear to complete the PvE portion
And if I got any math wrong please correct as well

Yep. Similar games have evolved to where they became too easy / too OP, to the point where they lose their luster -- what made them shine in the first place: the challenge.
If I wanted to eliminate challenge, I'd go play FarmVille.

Cuddles' Law: The volume of a player's whine is directly proportional to his/her VIP level.

100% morale retention: You skill every round
    95% morale retention: You don't

Not everyone uses Herja and Flavius in their formations, and I don't think everyone should.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely pass it on. On Sirius set giving 100 morale retention: We don't want every hero doing their skill attack every round. There are a few good reasons for this:
    • It would undermine the value of mages, making them worse compared to physical heroes, and discounting the special thing about mage, that they "skill" every round.
    • It would undermine the value of heroes like Bloodstorm who, by design, skill attack every round. They would no longer be unique.
    • It would force players to use anti-morale heroes in PvP to combat this, and thus limit the available hero pool. We don't want any hero to "required" in a formation.

So this change probably won't be reverted, but I will pass on the feedback. Thanks!

Agree with matt but the point about morale on a set is right on when Tynon kept it under 100. Even when we go to Dragon set, they should not have over 95. They need to add other attributes such as Resilience and bigger power increases when you can obtain them.

    Dawn,
This should never be reverted nor ever be offered. Otherwise, not only Blood, but every hero that have the skill advantage will be obsolete.

Who would use Kahn when they can use Queen P to skill every round?

Also as you pointed out, it would severely undermine mage class and they are already GIMP compared to other heros in damage.

I agree with this. I'd like to see a unique bonus when you complete the Dragon or Sphinx sets.

    Ok
I can agree with this a bit.
And I see the reaosning. I dont totally agree, but Thank you for explaining it. And thank you for passing on our feedback
