Thread: Lancelot skill duration incorrect?

    Lancelot skill duration incorrect?

In Lancelots description of Greater Savagery, it states it lasts 3 rounds. Yet I notice that as soon as his third round starts, he loses his buff.

    Ex: 1st) Skill, 2nd) melee, 3rd) Skill

Shouldn't that third skill have an increased attack on it? You can obviously see the buff disappear, and that skill definitely hits for as much as the first does. Any idea on this?

I think this is because the buff affects the initial skill attack as well :P

It doesn't affect the initial skill... basically it only lasts one useful turn (the turn right after the skill) rather than three.

Can anyone with Lightbringer confirm that a skill attack used back to back does more than the original hit?

    ok heres how it works
skill attack normal phys attack and crit.
next 3 hits will have 30% increased phsyical damage and crit rating. SO if they are skill attacks they will do more damage then teh 1st skill attack, but if they are physical attacks they will not be mor ethen the skill attack in damage unless it crits

The problem is that the buff only really applies for one hit. The client counts the rounds as such. The initial skill strike to institute the buff counts as 1, then the next attack be it skill or melee counts as 2, then it just kills the buff before the 3rd round, so the buff is only active for 2 rounds and only actually applies to 1 hit. It is massively misleading to say it applies to 3 rounds, it just doesn't

Doesn't for me. Without herja or physical attacks, I get something like

[Weak skill], [strong physical], [weak skill], [strong physical], etc... The buff doesn't apply to any skill hit at all if I don't skill each turn.

Ok, Ill test on my brothers account, Im still questioning whether or not it does buff the FIRST skill. I know for a fact it doesn't buff the second if used 2 rounds after.

I just tested it during cerberus. My first skill attack dealt 230K. My second skill attack dealt 300K.

Shows matt is right. The initial skill attack isn't buffed.
