Something strange happened on my way to the Rune temple-

This was right after we had finally banished Baal, and after the rewards distribution, I noticed that I had a nice amount of gold coins to spend in the rune temple.

Midway into the run temple, I was prompted with the message that " Disconnected from the server..", so I decided to just refresh and re-connect.

After getting back in-game, this is where it got strange, the nice stash of gold coins, was no longer there, or should I say, less than what I had received to begin with.

So, from the 26K coins that I had originally received, now went to 6650 . Does this mean I'm being penalized from my disconnects?

It happens all the time. I don't know why, but several things seem to add the wrong amount of coins, and the system eventually correct its own errors. You don't lose coins; you just had coins you never had.

"This happens when the number of coins your client think you have is different from the server. There are a number of things that can cause this (Cheat Engine, rapidly clicking on some rewards, etc), but the server number is correct and is not susceptible to these problems. So when it sees a difference there, normally when you're trying to buy something, it disconnects you to resynchronize your client with the server." -Dawnseeker

This is not entirely true - i have gone a couple of days without going to temple and during that time have refreshed, re-logged in etc etc numerous times (surely enuf times for server to be adjusted properly), yet i have still experienced this issue. I have also refreshed prior to entering temple and it still makes no difference...... i reckon i'd have enuf to buy a dragon if tynon were to reimburse me for losses, losses that i simply do not understand why im experiencing.

I dont use cheat engine, and dont fast click rewards so if more clarification on this could be forthcoming im sure we would all appreciate it so we can at the very least avoid what is causing this problem inadvertently by normal account usage.

I have had this issue repeatedly and lost both coins and runes. I received the same canned response. It happened again and they sent me an accounting of my coins coming and going. The only thing that seemed to be missing was possibly some guild treasure chests. It is hard for me to tell how much I am actually spending in the rune temple but I am pretty sure I am losing coins and runes still every time I get that disconnect. It is a common issue and the "client" is Tynon code and should be fixed to work properly with the server.

If you notice, sometime you get more coins/credits after banish then you really earned. For example, say your actual reward is 10M coin/4M credit. For some reason, you get about 27M coin and 10M credits. However, when you refresh it goes away. If you spend more than you actually really have, you get disconnected.
