Yes the dragon is completely wrong
2500 exp for 1 star
5k for 2 stars 10k for 3 etc etc
takes 448 years at 5 free feedings a day to get to 15

Well, we all know these are absolutely crazy requirements, but I'm betting that atleast one guy here is willing to drop 96,000 gems to have a 10 star dragon. That is all Tynon needs to not change it.

* This is exactly why I haven't dropped everything and adopted a punky pet dragon. The bear is enough, since we will never see the outer limits of this feature. Well... not at this rate anyhow.

If you spend gems to buy a mount it will e already starred to a certain level that is what tynon wants people to do.

It says there's only a chance of getting a starred mount, and it doesn't even assure what level.
So even buying using gems won't even assure you a starred mount.
thats kinda scary isnt it? i mean if i had the cash and was someones rich kid and wouldnt have to worry about money then i maybe, just maybe spend 20k gems on a dragon... but for a "chance" to get an improved one? "improved" can mean here 1 star.
i read at some point that the developers where planning on changing all this, the feeds and a new pet too i believe. i really wonder what happened to that and if it will make it easier to feed them. if it was up to me, i would simply break them down in smaller XP steps (if a pet was already fed before it would go into the next star bracket by default and not loose any XP). 224 years (or 3.07m gems) for the max level needs to be cut back significantly to a more realistic basis. if it was cut back to a 100th of that with 2years or 30k gems would still seem very far but more achievable and dont forget that there would also be the actual cost of 20k gems for the dragon itself.
The main thing that needs adjusted is only getting 200 Exp for 15 gems.
Several of us have made suggestion to fix this.
Unlimited feeds
tames are 5 gems
then change exp scale for all mounts to match white horse
each mount costs more to feed then the last
so a white horse costs 500k a feed
while a dragon costs 2m a feed
If you do the math. It lets you get it done much quicker but still will take 3-4 years to get a dragon to level 15 with just feeds
Because it would still cost 194b coins to feed it to level 15 and 49b coins to get a white horse to level 15
SO even if you could find 1b coins a week to feed your dragon thats 194 weeks or 3.73 years or 241m gems to do tames
