When I started, there were plenty of opponents. Then something glitched, and now all I have are five empty picture slots and no one to challenge. Anyone know if there is a timeout or some kind of problem or fix for this?

try refreshing the browser had this happen 2 me a few times
This happen to me too. Main screen says I got new opponents but when I go to Arena it's all empty, no pictures of any opponents. Can select Stakes, and claim a winning but that's all.
Did work fine in the beginning but then as I progressed it stopped working.
Tried different computers, browsers and all same.
Changing Realm made arena work again...
crap, Arena got messed up again after playing it few times and now I can't swap Realm so guess I'm stuck with a non working Arenawon't spend any cash on this game till it's been fixed!

I am also having a problem with this
The day 3 bonus is fighting 10 battles in arena. We can't complete the challenge without opponents.
This is obviously not fixed yet. I changed realms today and am in new realm except i still have the old arena view. Meanwhile the arena stats are for the new arena. I have rebooted, cleared cache changed browser three times, rebooted laptop etc.
I'm also having the same problem on Hephaestus (server 34), forest realm. I've had the problem all weekend, actually. Can't complete the daily assistant rewards, which since I'm well beyond the beginner rewards, is my only source of gems until I reach level 50.
I went from somewhere around rank 10 in the arena, to rank 2000+ when beaten by another player, then that player changed realms before I could attempt to take my rank back from him, and I've been stuck there ever since with no one to challenge to move back upward.
I actually wouldn't mind making my way up from the back of the queue again, if it were possible to move upward. With no one else showing at that rank, it's just impossible to move upward. I really hope you guys get this fixed sometime soon.
As another possibly helpful bit of information: When this happened, for the rest of that day until the midnight refresh the arena rankings for our realm showed myself and the other player as invisible on the top 50 rankings. He was 11th, and I was 10th. When he beat me I should have gone to 11th and him to 10th, but instead the glitch happened and the list of names showed 2 blank spaces where 10th and 11th should be. Literally blank spaces. The first page went to 9th place, and the next page started at 12th place with two lines of blankness at the top and bottom where 10 and 11 would have been. That resolved it's self and everyone shifted up two spots on the rankings when the midnight refresh came, but I do still get the rewards I would if I were in 11th place, rather than whatever rewards would be for the nonexistent 2k-something it says I'm at.
I also must be showing on the available opponents for our first place player, because he is the only person who has been able to attack me all weekend. (P.S. VERA! Stop stealing my gems. =P)

update of this previously: I moved from water realm to fire relam .... and could only see the water realm arena, until i won a challenge and then it moved me from 7th place water realm to 7th place fire realm... now there are two people at 7th place fire realm.. my friend from waterrealm got my fire realm arena level (1277) in waterrealm.... something is really wrong.
