SOmething changed with Cerberus this morning. Everyone noticed it on my realm: no one is dealing as much damage as they used to. It's especially evident with the top ranking players. FOr my part, I often land 1.5% shots on our 1.25 Billion cerb, and now it didn't happen once this morning: only 0.5% shots. A player, who usually does 20%, did 14% this morning. I noticed there was not as many people as usual online (24 compared to 44 sometimes).

Everyone agree, on S106, that something has changed with Cerberus this morning. Did it happen on other servers too?

My damage on the beast dropped from 24% to 19% today. And we used all the time we had.

Nothing has been changed on Baal or Cerberus, to my knowledge. This is likely a case of collective obsessional behavior (i.e. group delusion). This can spread rapidly through any group based on fear and rumors without any objective facts. We've seen it happen numerous times in Tynon already.

well im telling you this
ive renamed banish to Guess which form to use this round
lately me and the other top 2 hitters in my realm
have been a bot all over the place in damage.

One day 2 of us could do our normal while the 3rd does 20% more then usual or the 3rd does 20% less the usual
or 2 of us could do 20% less the usual and the 3rd does normal.

The issue is 2 fold.
1. damage is in ranges so regardless of how many times you stun - you can hit the low range of damage on many hits in the round and not crit as often
2. stun rates - they are so random its not even worth figuring it out any more.
I can avg 14-22m a round
the best player can avg 18-28m a round
the 3rd avgs 10-16m a round

So as you can see it goes all over the place.
Then if you have only 15 rounds one day you may not ever have your REALLY GOOD rounds and if you went 4 more rounds you could have done another 100m damage.

It is definitely pretty random now a days.

I don't disagree with Dawn, there have been several delusional situations so far, and will continue to be because we are all very paranoid that the Banish system will be yet again nerfed. The range in which damage changes is crazy, and it can no longer be denied that upgrading offensive gear will actually lower your damage output for a few days, maybe longer, just adding to this delusion.

I have also noticed something else. I have recently changed realms and now participate in a realm where I'm easily the biggest damage producer. The first 10 or so rounds I will do 40-60m damage PER ROUND and then all of a sudden, POW! 15-25m damage for the rest of the event, with the occasional 40m round. The only thing I can think of is a stun cap. Perhaps I hit some kind of cap that cancels out my heroes stuns or limits them after a certain period in each round? I don't know, but no matter how much more damage I can create, this dang system finds a way to take it away and spread it out amongst the non coiners. Merry Christmas F2P players, I'm coining for YOU!

And Matt is right. It was right around the time the Casino patch was released, because we have both discussed it several times since then.

How fast you take out baal/cerb depends on how strong he gets. ie. In the morning if only 2 people show up if you dont take him out in 15mins, You get the 5m boss at 3pm. When all of us online at 10am baal/cerb we kill him in 3 hits each dealing 30%dmg each. He says, I am coming back stronger. Then we get the 250B cerb that if your lucky and stun the whole 45secs you get 5% damage. This baal/cerb with 8 heavy hitters takes atleast 30mins to take out. so to answer your question. Its based on damage done/X Players/= Output of Next Baal/Cerb dependent on damage done in morning boss/ Factor Morning+afternoon Boss= Morning Boss 250B. Hope this helps.

Edit: As far as people saying there damage is not staying the same, ofcourse not. if you dont stun the full round and dont knock his morale out you will be sitting on the sidelines waiting 20secs to hit again. This = Damage that could be dealt ie.Wasted damage. From start to finish. I stun the full go around. Cianna with justice set same with calvin.

The amount of hp the boss has probably doesn't have anything to do with since they pretty much always have the 1.25 billion hp bosses.

I just wanted to say 1 thing
My lancelot Du lac hit 650k max damage in banish avrage is 600k
Now hard to reach 600k in max and avrage 540k
Look like all my damage go down 10% in total.
its mean something wrong with my toons? i even increase power like matk and hit rating.
Hope i can get back my damage to banish as before.

Same toons, same formation, same runes but higher levels and added two new level 6 runes, better chips, better armor, one level up and did some blacksmith and talent increase. Overall power increased by 1,500,000 two days. My damage, credits and rep did not go up on the banishes it went down. Both banishes were the 250M Cerb and Baal and I had an 80% boost for both.
