This is the problem with every update they do. Several hundred people just hit a certain level, and then the rewards for that level get better shortly after they collect them.
I just hit VIP8 not long ago.

I bet there are going to be several thread and posts on this very subject, because I don't care what anyone says, it holds merit. It's frustrating to say the least.
