For those curious, VIP rewards gives a whopping 200 casino chips plus, coins, credits, and experience. VIP3 rewards include 20 blue medals, coins, credits, and 500 casino chips. Still being VIP1 lets me see all that stuff. ;-)
Now the casino definitely provides better value for players starting on new servers. Not a complaint, just an observation. I think these changes bode well for future servers.
You're not thinking very hard then or doing much research on the topic of retroactive rewards, it is done frequently by games who actually care about their customer base. SWTOR, GW2, Hearthstone, Warframe, Perfectworld to name a few. I'm pretty sure that like myself a little pat on the back now and then would be appreciated by most, instead of what feels more like a slap in the face most times.
The game has changed dramatically over the last 10 months and the vast majority of the changes have helped the newcomers. That is all good, seeing fresh blood rising through the ranks and a more even playing field has been pleasant for more players than it hasn't but when you add it all up and someone like me misses out on something like a VIP rewards that they can never go back and get, hundreds of tokens for spirits, especially now since the lab loot rolls are lacking plans more frequently, it really grates me. The fact that the near 800 spins worth of chips would probably result in nearly 800 useless chests isn't the issue either.
I hate to say this. BUt the lab flips have not changed. I keep seeing all these comments and threads about stuff changing. I have not seen these changes. Like banish, lab flip changes, etc.
What I see is still consistent with the way things have been for 10 months.
Remeber random is random, so there are going to be streaks of good random for you and bad random for you. When you think something has changed often its just a streak of bad random
