Reading through the entirety of this thread and noting the change of boss type, it comes down to this. I know this has been mentioned elsewhere so I apologise for repeating it.
- High HP, I'm guessing 160k plus for this beast
- High dodge
- High restistance, this can reduce the damge taken from magic and melee attacks
- Use magic resistance heroes and equip with high level messiness
It's been a long time since any of us faced a Mage Boss. The only one I can think of on the second continent is Plaguebringer and his Flame Wall. I suspect that's why this one got a makeover. Recently it's all been melee bosses, whip out your Queen P's and Khans then kill. This is meant to be a challenge.
EDIT: I'd work on upping Third Eye talent level too.
