you may want to rethink that. only because maria wont be usefull later on doesnt mean she is useless to help you now. you can also have both, maria and herja in the party. you should always have 2 staffs and an additional sword (put the staff and the sword in the bank to prevent them from mixing up with the other weapons when auto gear up.
when decide on a main damage dealer it doesnt have to be either or, you can have both, adam and alci in your party and in other situations you may want to swap out your adam with alci or rhize or whatever hero to focus your damage.
definitely make up your mind on a tank because there is two to choose from and you will find situations where you want to tank with your main and have him replaced by a sub tank. so you dont want to "waste" medals and spirits on three tanks.
Might not like hearing this, but right now I don't have Adam, Rhize, or Alcibiades.

And right now, I'm not seeing much benefit from Herja. I will try getting better runes/armor.
