    The great new guild warfare!

    Okay, I do get the fact warfare needed a remake, since the uberguilds took everything.. But just take a look at this picture, and tell me if it is more fair this way:
    This guy killed the entire rest of the page twice whitout dieing, or healing up at A/D

    There's a lot of info that's needed that's missing. How many cities were owned by the guild that he was attacking, what heroes he has, what heroes the others had, etc. Killing 11 twice is 66 points - he would have been scratched at just under 70. So, either he was going against a bunch of real low characters, or had a very high bonus.

    Sorry, forgot to give the city info

    We got a level 5 guild, holding 3 lvl 4 cities and 4 level 3 cities.
    So yes, he got a nice buff from that, but even though he got that buff, he shouldnt be able to kill everyone on that list twice whitout healing (he has no maria in there either)

    oh wait, forgot your not server1-10 now it makes sense what your saying

    So looking at it form that perspective.

    He gets a 50% power boost cuz the 1st 2 cities dont count.

    now i could see this guy killing the 2 players ranked above him easily without the boost, depending on setups. SO killing them twice w/o dieing is quite possible with a 50% boost

    I could even see him beating players 9-12 twice without even loosing a hero with a 50% boost.
    I could also see beating 4-7 twice without dieing with a 50% boost

    I could easily believe 2 out of those 3 happened
    all 3 is a little much, but with the right setups going yeah it makes total sense.

    Now I dont think this should happen at all, and why i think the power boost is a little too high. But I also think this could have been prevented with better setups of the other 10 players. NOt knowing the players and not having fought them before etc Im only guessing.

    To me this could as easily being outclassed by one player or being a total crock because of the new setup

    New setup for GW ruined it. It's useless now, damned if you do, damned if you don't. IF you get to win a city or two, doesn't last cuz they get that city buff. So hands are tied, it's not more competitive, its less. You can't risk giving them another city buff, so sit like tepid water in def. They can't take any more, and now all have lost city ownership buffs. Stupid, when it only affects one realm of 5. I still hate it, and they ruined it.

    I think they only get buffs if your guild holds more than three cities.

    These all sound like good things. Now one guild can't easily hold every city, and guilds must plan out strategy carefully for defense and offense. To me this sounds a lot better than defense saying "Okay all go B and turn 1 kill A" which was what was happening in 90% of GWs before we decided to overhaul it.

    ^^^^ Exactly this. One turn battles in previous guild wars had no strategy or depth. I like the new guild wars far better than the old system.

    Not true. I can't speak to all servers, but this B to A still happens on most. 4 of 5 realms still hold all cities/buffs on our server. And the 1 realm that doesn't is stuck in a rut. No one is growing or keeping pace with the rest of the server due to no or inadequate city buffs. It is not fair, never has been and is not better. Maybe the servers that share 1 GW is better, but ours is most certainly NOT.
