So the thread started is "What is next for Tynon"
I have some drastic change ideas that can revitalize this game and make people get more interested in this game.
First put in a drastic changes. Stir it up big time.
Start with allowing people to trade currency such as coins, credits, and other consumables like materials, and 1 or 2 things like CHIPS, and Plans.
Then let the game evolve. I bet there would be a mass market or 3rd market that develops from this. Put this game on the major league map.
Then introduce full fledged shop similar to dark ago of camelot (DAOC) or everquest (EQ) where you put your materials in your inventory for same at a price for others to buy while you are sleeping or afk. Create a market place. Let this evolve.
Now people who want to make money will emerge to farm more materials. Let people have alts like all other games, but put a limit of 8 characters per account like other games.
Now allow for weapon skills to be added to specialize a hero weapons with newly introduced "imbue system".
Game can evolve into something great.
While doing all of this, get some investors to invest in major infrastructure uplift for new server farm and mesh all players to 1 server per region. Re-invent the same game while preserving the investments people have already made. Increase vip rewards to attract more high end and mid end players.
This is where Tynon could be headed.
There will always be people who game the system and abuse it. Therefore the game should be left to evolve with the right structure and foundation. Having or creating an economic eco-system with ability to grow and "bind" items at some points to make them non-tradeable, etc can help solve some of the abuse problems. Also establishing a better guild and social system where there can be more interaction and contributions as well as reward system may be a great thing to put in.
The game has tremendous potential if some money can be invested to further develop the game and scale it properly and get out of these cheap VM's they call a new "server" every time a VM instance reach capacity with # of characters created.
The way to stop alt abuse is to make them less useful (which they aren't really doing). This would mean less daily rewards and a more grind/farm based type game (with auto-grind obviously taken away). Would be fun imo for them to make a separate game with this structure.
I do like the idea of trading, but I still don't see how it could work. Also if they could include varieties in the equipment (different sets for the same level geared towards different stats) and generally expand our options instead of the same thing over and over.
This was the response from Dawn which leads me to think there is definitely more challenges that awaits us.
My prediction:
Immediate patch release within 2014:
- 8th sub slot opening up. I can feel this coming soon with a next very hard set of royal hero's to beat.
- Heroic's opening up to complete sirus set and I have a feeling this is not going to be easy and may require 450mil+ formation to beat it and needing 8th sub slot for the relic sirus heroic boss
- Quest line expanded for sirus materials
- Next Rep/Title Hero with another new mount for that rep (7 - 8 mil rep is the next title is my prediction)
- Increased level cap to 120
Next year in 2015:
- Dragon scale set, but I can see this coming in the form of other events and spirit plans updated in the LAB making it worth doing again.
- Stars and saints being raised another 5 levels, while runes going to lvl 15.
- CWF being revamped with brackets and further prizes for each bracket so everyone at all levels of power can compete fairly and for a prize.
- Guild technologies opening up further with cool down reductions for further levels.
- Increased level cap to 130+
- Changes to several key events (Ragnok, Heavens, and in game weekly events such as mystery chest being revamped)
Mid 2015:
- Changed Guild management system and chat system (for host only chats, etc)
- Further tynon world expansion with new challenges and increased level caps to 150+ (may not have any more set's but rather maybe add more unique skills and talents with levels beyond 130).
2016:
- Subscription "option" for steady weekly gem salary = $29/mo for 4k gem per month salary paid 1k gem weekly (may come earlier)
- Heroic's to go beyond sets to group heroic's with again loot distribution system for guild/raid leaders to manage
- Client version of Tynon (if they can fix all the bugs in time)
- Client version may allow for up to 8 characters per log in with sharing of gears and loot
- In game trading and currency system
To do all of this, Tynon needs to change their business model from current purchasing of gem's to a steady state income stream, which means they must introduce a subscription based system that provides people with gems on a weekly basis as salary. Otherwise, this game may never go beyond 2015 capabilities due to funding shortages.
EDIT: Forgot to mention. For optional subscription players, as they gain gems on a monthly basis, their VIP ratings would progress forward, so over time, everyone can be a high vip as long as they subscribe long enough to accumulate enough gem's via salary. A WIN-WIN for everyone.

This is my thoughts, I don't work for Tynon so it's only my two cents.
This is probably likely or close to it.
Dawnseeker did hint at a Level 4 Labyrinth sometime in the future. New gear sets very likely as is increasing the maximum level.
Changes to Ragnarok and CWF are speculative, none of us can really say whether it's a done deal or not. Runes I suspect will be increased over time too.
I doubt they'll be a change to the chat system or guild management. Increase in leveling is likely.
Group events could happen but I doubt it'll be tied to HR. Client version and subscription will not happen. Know the company fairly well and uCool are committed to a free-to-play browser based game.

I agree with a substantial number of the above.
I'd like to see subscription system soon, with the gem value per dollar at somewhere between that of the regular $99.99 package and the special $99.99 package.
Also, I think they will release Dragonscale Spirit and Sword in 2014, but you will need to farm arena for mats. Rest of Dragonscale items may open up late 2014 or early 2015.
If they did trade, it would be auction-based to prevent selective trading/brokering which leads to exploitation through alts.
I will repeat what I said earlier before everyone gets carried away. uCool/Tynon will not implement a subscription option, they are committed to a free-to-play system. It was suggested umpteen times on the Evony forum and each time the reply was "we are not going to implement this".

I think minds can be changed when monitization is involved. If they make it a subscription based service, they would probably make a lot more steady income to fund more development and have more full time employees.
I hope they rethink their marketing strategy for their own sake/survival.
