Imo, realm arena gets stale when the top 10 in each realm are of the same guild. There's no competition when all your guildmates control all the spots in the top 10. But many people say they want competition, but when its given to them they do nothing but complain.

I think some people 'liked' the idea of having their own realm arena to rock 'n' roll in.

It's not messing with Cerb or Baal so I think it's okay.
I'm wondering if this is leading to the merging of servers? I sure hope so.

Apart from the perils of dressing for Banish, especially Cerb. No, there isn't any interference. However, I think this a game improvement patch rather than a precursor to server merges.

Tynon just make two arenas, omg you try to make improvements and look what happens, looks like the only way to solve it, those that dont want a war game can play in regular arena, others that want to have fun in others.

Yeah there's much more competition but the Arena had kinda evolved as a Guild owned thing. It was their little kingdom where everyone helped each with various stakes without having to do battle or worry every time you got a 100 or 1000 gem stake. Personally, I haven't made up my mind whether I like it or not but one thing I'm sure about once the places have been fixed there will be as much competition as there was in the Realm Arenas. You will have a certain group and that's where you'll stay.

OK ... with Ultimate Arena we really need that presto/change for heros!!! It is too hard to battle for arena position while changing forms for banish. Not everyone changes, so this is really bad. Or adjust the time of arena award. But the save option for forms would do it!! Then you can hold form, and prep for banish in one easy step.

A 'quick change' options works for me.

When checking a player's profile, their local realm arena rank is displayed rather than ultimate arena rank. It should specify this, since now there are 2 arenas and it could confuse people.

I assume that you are on one of the old servers (1-10). You just do not see it because you are in the top 10 of your Realm. Ask some one that is not on the top 10 and they will tell you that it is still there and you are in it.

I am in on of the first servers. And yes, I was told that I am still in realm arena but where is realm arena and why can't I access it if it's there?

Well, the most interesting thing now is that one form won't fit all for arena. What might beat one player, won't beat another. Since arena is where we "live", when you sleep, go to work, go out, all of life's realities, you will be moved, beaten, farmed, without being able, or online, to fix/recover/reclaim. So, as of this moment I don't like it. More fighting - yes. Being farmed by the big dogs, never getting to keep a stake, specially GEMS!!, bad, very bad. I got 1 chest taken and reclaimed 4 times, only to lose it then to top player. So, this may be the final blow. You can't rest in this game, and real life does require that you occasionally do.

Because you can only fight on one of the arenas. If you are in the top 10 of the Realm Arena, then you fight in the Ultimate Arena. In order to get back to be able to fight in the Realm Arena some one from there has to bring you down if they see you there. Then they take your place in the Ultimate Arena.

Of course, the 11 rank and only see up to the 6 ranke, so if you are 5 or above in the Realm Arena the only way that you would be able to get back down would be for people in the Ultimate Arena to bring you down so that you are below (higher rank) the player that is currently rank 6 in the Realm Arena so that the rank 11 in the Realm arena can see you.

The whole thing is really confusing. Look at my earlier post that shows how ir works using one concrete example.

Yep, it's dog eat dog now. The ones that will prevail will be the non-coiners that exploit bugs and have somehow kept their top ranks. This arena is great for the PvP spammers too. You know, each server has those guys. They attack you 75 times in 3 mins, to get that one lucky hit in at 9:59am. Coiners that work for a living will now suffer a bit.

New arena ranks question -

So let's say your in 1st place in your realm arena, so you get put into the ult Arena, but you can't get past 10th... you don't get any rewards? Maybe this needs to be thought out more. What motivation does that give people, if there are so many loopholes that will screw people.
The top 3 should still get rewards of the normal arena, no matter what, plus whatever the ult arena offers.

I remember lots of people (me included) asking for a new seperate Arena just for power players, but this is not seperate. You are not given a choice if you want to be in this Arena. I think it needs to be 100% seperate, not attached to realm Arena's at all.

i would assume top 15 from ultimate arena = HP setup
it kinda sadens me to see this happening and honestly hope they also implemented the announced change for HP with this patch at the same time. i liked powering down for lower players to be able to get some chance on a reward for HP that would justify a 100% boost or any boosting for this matter. now if the heavens palace stays as is, i kinda feel bad for having only 1 other player on our server who is able to finish the event.

Worse still, if you are in ultimate arena, it is set up like realm arena. If you are ranked 5 in ultimate and can't move up, then you're just farmed out completely because you can't see anyone lower to fight. Basically you're just sitting there giving any gem, chest, coins etc away to the people above you. You only alternative is to have your guild knock you out of the top ten and lose the arena stakes you would get at 10 just so you could get a chest. And anyone not in the same guild ranked lower than 1 is in the same position, Tynon has given a huge advantage to the guy who needs the stuff the least. Its not going to be competitive, its going to become stagnant just like realm arena is.
