I like the idea of an ultimate arena. But I think there should be an arena per realm as well.

New arena ranks question -

So let's say your in 1st place in your realm arena, so you get put into the ult Arena, but you can't get past 10th... you don't get any rewards? Maybe this needs to be thought out more. What motivation does that give people, if there are so many loopholes that will screw people.
The top 3 should still get rewards of the normal arena, no matter what, plus whatever the ult arena offers.

I remember lots of people (me included) asking for a new seperate Arena just for power players, but this is not seperate. You are not given a choice if you want to be in this Arena. I think it needs to be 100% seperate, not attached to realm Arena's at all.

One of my guildies is 42 in UA and 8 in RA and got some arena rewards but does not remember what they are. I asked her to keep track of them tomorrow.

Worse still, if you are in ultimate arena, it is set up like realm arena. If you are ranked 5 in ultimate and can't move up, then you're just farmed out completely because you can't see anyone lower to fight. Basically you're just sitting there giving any gem, chest, coins etc away to the people above you. You only alternative is to have your guild knock you out of the top ten and lose the arena stakes you would get at 10 just so you could get a chest. And anyone not in the same guild ranked lower than 1 is in the same position, Tynon has given a huge advantage to the guy who needs the stuff the least. Its not going to be competitive, its going to become stagnant just like realm arena is.

Well all this would be fine IF when your in arena with another Realm and you wouldn't get server not sync error when they beat you and you cant get stakes back.....
They most certainly lost a chance also, by NOT putting a few deals available in the special buy chests.

Loving the patch here. Finally some competition in arena. That said, the rewards could be fleshed out more, and arena stakes can be an issue. Always expect some excitement before cerb time though.

the top 24 of the server (first 2 pages from the RANKINGS) should be allowed to fight in ultimate arena and being able to challenge the 6 next to them at any rank (3 behind and 3 in front)

But it benefits me amazingly.

Thanks for the feedback on this patch guys. Its very helpful for us in planning.

Personally, I love it. The idea of having a normal arena for top 10 per server would also help reduce the complaints from those who didn't benefit as much.

Patch notes would have been really helpful as it was pretty confusing for me to figure out the change.
