I know. It took only 2 days when the new guilds where we expected to get a fight with, fell apart. Their biggest players joined us, the others disappeared.

I wasn't happy with it but I'm only an average player so what can I do about it... Maybe they can lock up the realms if they start new mergers.

Actually, it's always the same with every game. It are the players that makes or ruin the game. Have played a game once where the real good players that stayed seperated for the balance of the game. When there was war, they fought eachother for a few days and an hour after the war was finished they were laughing in chat together about the things that happened.
Would be nice that mentality would appear here on a few servers too. It would bring more life in it.

We have somehow managed to maintain active guilds in all three realms on 99. The In GW we are constantly exchanging cities. So, GWs are exciting and enjoyable. The one thing missing seems to be the chatting after any sort of battle between the realms. If we had that, it would be a very enjoyable place. But, our guild has many friendly and helpful people in it, so that makes up for a lot! For the most part, we don't have the problems mentioned here by those on other servers - and I'm thankful for that.

I had an interesting experience, got a gem stake and then big players knocked themselves down to come and grab it. Yes, I even did as many suggested, stayed low. Seems there isn't any point in that either, after all I then had no chance of reclaiming it.

Now I don't know about you but I always considered the Arena a place where you have a group and you stay within in it. However, it's obvious it's about the stakes (or at least the better ones) and I'm sorry to say if that's the case then the whole line about it being better rewards and a better challenge is all fluff and bluster. The UA is a breeding ground for bullies which is a shame.
Random advice: If you have large stakes, you could power down and let someone take it. If it's someone you could beat, you'll be able to get it back no problem.

I've tried moving down in UA, and it's a lot harder than in the normal arena for me. In the normal arena, I would be surrounded by guild members who can power up or down to help out, but right now I'm surrounded by people from other realms (which I'm friendly with, but they would rather I join them).

Workable if only if you are near guildies that are online or friends from other realms. In this case I wasn't otherwise I would have done as you suggested. It was only 10 gems so really I wasn't overly bothered and used my experience as an example but it goes to show what lengths some of the Arena Farmers will go to.

The Arena should be as Matt and Boo described but it's evolved in a way that makes it not like that at all. If it was exactly how it should be then I would have less of an issue. Sadly, it used to farm off smaller players who can't fight back and the saddest thing of all it gives a lot of the bigger players a bad name. I wouldn't rob gems of smaller guys without giving them a chance to claim them back but there a lot who won't.

We have all played together for 10-11 months now and most are good pals.
We have the same agreement in UA as we do in our guilds. We ask to hit for gems and leader cards.
The more populated servers are always up against it verses the newer servers. We don't get 1/2 the res they do from events and tynon keep adding stuff to buy but keep the silly banish cap.

That's how it is on most servers

If Morgan was online, she could've asked the guy to power down for her and she could get the stakes back.

This confused me as well. Thought it meant you weren't online... not you weren't near guildies.

Maybe I could have phrased it better but it would also make sense that I wouldn't been able to describe the events if I was off line. However, I am terrible for putting my opinions into flowery phrases and for that I apologise.

If I was off line I'd phrased it 'Workable if I was both online and guildies were able to let me know I had gems.

I guess you guys can set up a system where you contact the person you are taking gems from with both PM and world chat to let them know, so if they are online and not afk they can ask you to power down afterwards.
