Mages don't need any more double runes because this will leave them with an empty spot. Right now, mages can use all 3 defense runes, endurance, reliability, preciseness, nimbleness, and intenseness. If you double any of these up, then you leave them with an empty spot. The only way I can see them needing a double-rune is they gained a new mechanic that benefited from crit. Perhaps, have crit increase stun chance (for Shayd, Byrn, and Aphro), heal chance (for Maria), or increase damage (for Mulan and Smoulder). Enemy resilience rating increases their resistance to this effect.
Then Magic Attack/Critical Chance would be a natural double rune for mages.
