    casino

I understand the casino is basically a gambling hall, and understandably the cards are always stacked in favor of the house. However, when the rotation speed slows down and creeps along stupidly for half a rotation before stopping on either stamina or a chest while the previous time it was spun it rotated quickly to stop on said stamina or chest, it's obvious the AI is 'cheating' for the house. Really, Tynon, this isn't a real casino, there is no need to frustrate the daylights out of people trying to play it, especially when they use gems to buy extra spins. I understand setting it up so the percentage chance of getting something nice is nearly impossible on your free daily roll, but if you're spinning 10x due to your VIP rewards bonus, there is no reason why the chances of getting good things (like 100+ gems, or scroll fragments, or even hero cards) shouldn't be a lot higher. After all, we've already spent the money to get to that level of VIP, how about we get a little love thrown into the deal as well?

The animation has nothing to do with what you get. The item that you get is determined before the animation starts using a an logarithm that pick it at random taking into consideration the odds for all the items that are available at the Casino. Then the items to be displayed are chosen and the animation started and it stops on the predetermined item. This is also true for any place that you pick a card in the game.

The predetermined result is still stacked in favour of the house rather than the player.
I spun 3800 credits the other day.... 38 spins and got 23 chests, 100 gems, 400 stamina and some other crap.

Thats not a fair random, thats a result that is set to give a slightly decent result every certain number of spins.

    In other words its FIXED!!!

    This is correct.

I hate the way the casino wheel does that also. I've provided this feedback to the devs.

Fairness and randomness has been discussed in many treads. This is the latest one http://bbs.tynon.com/showthread.php?...ghlight=random

Colin, using your definitions, even Vegas is fixed.

The way these casino type mechanics work in gaming (and it's not too far removed from real gaming, FYI) is that at the time of the play the result is chosen based on a table of probabilities. It's called a pay table. The spin itself is entertainment, because the choice was already made by the feature algorithm.

To provide a real world example, when I worked in the casino business we closely monitored a ring of video poker players. They had happened on finding out how often our machines dealt royal flushes, and so they'd pound these machines with plays, often not even looking at the screen to get the machine through its average number of plays before a royal flush, then they'd go max bet once they got to the approximate range of when the machine paid out on average. It was quite impressive to watch, because this particular group made a truly silly amount of money. What happened is that they figured out the pay table, and then went to town.

So are you saying. That if 2 players both spun the same number of spins, that if they spin enough times (lets say 10k times) both players should receive about the same quality of prizes.

ANd further more, using your example of the casino video poker machines.

Would it be more correct to say each player in tynon has their own casino and payout table or there is only 1 casino for all players on a server with 1 pay out table - or is there 1 casino for all of tynon with 1 payout table?

most slots are. basic probability has an additional percentage factored into it. so the standards odds of a result that may be 10/1 on a slot could be up to 80/1. House rules and house percentages.

A casino would not make money if the percentages were not on their side.

The fact that your slots were able to be counted proves that argument also. A random probability cannot be counted.

darn casino doesn't count my spin if I close the casino window out before its done spinning. Keep clicking assistant to do more dailys while it spins n it closes the window making the spin stop

    Hello everyone!
I've also had some trouble playing gambles, especially poker. Of course, playing such games is not about getting money but more about losing money but anyway I used to play when I needed to relax and to have some fun. If there are other guys who love playing gamblings so I would recommend you to check the following site: W88. This is really an awesome place where you can play and be sure that the site is fair and trustworthy. I've played on this site for a long time and now having the experience that I got throughout this period I can strongly recommend it to all my friends.
I wish you the best and have a wonderful day!
