Thread: equipment being deleted?

    Angry equipment being deleted?

    So i sign into my account on the new server the other day and all of my inventory and my equipment was deleted! i refresh 5-6 times and it was still all gone i was also removed from my guild >.< i asked my host and vice-host if they deleted me and they told me no i was furious! so i wrote support about it and told them no one even gets on my account except me and they told me well don't share your password :| they didn't even listen and they said scan my laptop but i scan it every morning before getting on is anyone else having this problem or are they just picking on me?

    I think the problem is the managers or GM's or game moderators dont want to do anything that requires looking into your lost equipment or returning anything lost due to their lack of security,inadequate customer support, like any real game would be able to look that up for you very easily and see what happened and return your game by browsing their reports and action in game.All in all its just a lack of caring about customers or what they have invested either time or money, but ill bet you 10-1 if it was their money or time invested they would surely be on it and have it fix'd immediately extremely poor support on this game for sure , especially with replys to questions when asked about issues you always get the return answer its your fault when its obviously glitch's in their program, shows where their mind is set lol if you mess with their game or try to get an advantage due to a glitch your blocked or banned but if their game screws you over then its all good and your fault :P compared to other games this games customer support is the worst i have came across :P sorry for my babbling

    OH and Ps this forum is supposedly heavily monitored so im guessing with such great support in this game then we will probably get a answer very quickly as to what happened to your items and know the truth as to what happened after they check the server history

    I pay a decent amount on this game between 2 accounts the only things that weren't loss was what was in my bank which was just a few extra gems to be put on my equipment other than that i lost everything except runes so i lost 300k power just from my equipment being deleted thankfully i had over 30mil coins to buy more but i lost my hope spirits and it will be awhile until i get more >.< the least they could do is see what they did and at least try to do something about

    Well i'll bet you one thing at least, you will not get your stuff back because im believing theres no monitoring the history of their servers in this game i think , probably to much work involved to help customers lol

    Other than submitting a ticket with Customer Support I presume you have done all the usual stuff like clearing your browser and flash cache/checking you have the latest adobe flash player installed?

    If you have it might be worth resubmitting another ticket with a full description of what has happened to your account. I can't comment whether you shared your details or not but it's important to note if anyone has, your account most probably will not be fixed.

    I'm not here to comment on the 'truth' or your version of it, I'm just here to moderate the forums and that's it. The forum and game although linked are two separate entities. You may by all means post your problems here, but for a faster and more efficient service you need to submit tickets to Customer Support.

    The forum mods here are all volunteers and just ordinary players who keep the forum in check. Tynon reps are employees who may help with in game issues but they still need to contact the appropriate department to discuss your complaint. So it's much easier all round if players go direct to the relevant support.

    By the way there isn't any in game moderators.

    No point in them giving me my stuff back now i already bought new equipment xD but something from them would be very much appreciated
    and yes i had cleared everything and have the latest version scanned daily ext. ill try another ticket but if nothing is done i am not going to be happy at all

    Hi morgan hey im curious about something you might be able to answer.Well lets say hypothetically a player starts a new server and trys to be a leader or power player on it spends money to get close to the top, do you think that the person honestly would delete their stuff or give away their password (after paying money) and get kicked out of the guild they are in and have invested gems and time into and continue to play trying to get back to where they were in the game after losing items,send a ticket to support to be told its their fault and shouldn't share password? or do you find it more plausible that some glitch or mishap happened and her stuff was deleted in the game ? i just am curious what your opinion would be as a gamer yourself

    There could be many reasons and none of which at this time would be fair to say one thing or another.

    I would tell this hypothetical player to remain in touch with Customer Support, both as a player and a mod.

    This hypocritical player may have given the log on info to a hypothetical someone else to keep the account going while on vacation.

    There is always a possibility the the account was hacked. There was a SSL (the encryption protocol used by web sites send and receive data) vulnerability, called Hartbleed, discovered recently so it is possible. http://www.pcworld.com/article/21425...erability.html

    Careful here Andy don't unwittingly cause a panic. , I have played both Evony and Tynon and never once was any one account ever (or proved) hacked by a 3rd party other than by sharing account details. If there was a vulnerability then more accounts would have been affected rather than one isolated case.

    uCool would also be duty bound to inform all their players to change their account details, especially passwords and a list of protocols to go through should your account been affected. Since none has been given Hartbleed or any other virus as far as we know right now is not to blame.
