Banish Cap - Yes another thread

Why did I start a new thread?
Simple Things have changed alot since the cap was introduced. SO lets talk about this with fresh eyes and all the new things out there.

    Whats different?

    1. Mounts are worth buying.
    2. Mounts cost coins everyday to upgrade.
    3. You can transfer mount exp now
    4. def runes now go to 12
    5. level cap on talents and black smith has increased
    6. Second sub is now in play.

SO just looking at all those things. EVERYONE needs more income.

NOw look at this scenario which will happen in the next say 2 weeks on server 1.

Forest real has 2 players that do on average every single day 50% of the banish damage between them - Yes one is me the other is spec.
then the next 2 players do about 25-30% of the damage

Then the rest of the damage is divided up among on average 40 players.

Now we have been very careful not to trigger 6.25b - since it will only cause us to be stuck there for an hour and NOONE will get anything extra out of it - In fact most would probably get slightly less. for 5 times the effort.

Once Spec and I get our second subs in play in the next 2 weeks - based on the increase I see from Boo's damage- I estimate we will go from doing 50% of the total damage to 75% or more

Then with the next 2 top players doing most of the rest of the damage - WHAT does that leave for the other 40 players in the realm.
ALOT less then they get now. How are those players suppose to grow?

Look I get that on some newer servers there was that 1 player who could get 50-70% of the banish damage by himself. But those servers are far and few between. And I seriously doubt the cap has really allowed other players to catch up that much.

This cap is only hurting EVERYONE but those few select players like blayd, legion commander etc who are on small servers who can do most of the damage in a banish. And no im not picking on Blayd or anyone else who happens to be on a small server. But they are the only ones not seriously effected. Heavily populated servers like server 1 are getting the shaft on this

Its time to remove the cap. Let the heavily populated servers go on to 6.25b banish without it being pointless.

If you want to make it so the pool is only 500m coins in a 6.25b fine
    Or
Make the next banish be 2.5b with no cap followed by a 3.75, then a 5b, then a 6.25b all with no cap

    OR a 2.5b with a cap of 200m coins then a 3.75b banish with a 300m coin cap, then 5b with a 400m coin cap, the a 6.25b with a 500m cap.

The banish progression does not have to go up by 5 every time. Which is one of the concerns with the coin increase. People go from 20-25m coins a banish to 100m or more a banish if you go from 1.25 to 6.25b in one step.

Now granted if a realm can right now take out a 1.25b in 15mins. Its likely they can do the other progressions I suggested in the next 30-60 days and be at the 6.25b. But that helps everyone on the server and the realm.

Please get rid of this flat out 100m coin/60m credit cap on all banishes. It is going to start hurting many players very soon.

I benefit greatly from banish caps, and it's really stupid. I am getting 80m+ from cerb now (baal still needs upgrading), since I am from an underpopulated realm/server and it's pretty unfair.

They could also increase income from other events and/or add new events so that banish doesn't become an event where you must show up or you will fall far behind the other players.

there is a lot reason to if not remove a cap on baal then atleast increase it. The 6,25 banish should have a higher reward than the 1,25 banish, i dont think any player would disagree on that

Oh... and the cap is 40m credits I believe.

How is you getting 80% of the damage UNFAIR

You probably coined and played smart to get that powerful. Its fair for you to do as much damage as you can.

Why do people think because a few players can do alot of damage that this is an unfair situation? Did they cheat and hack the servers to get that much damage? NO! They got powerful. SO why are they now being punished for getting more powerful and spending money on the game?

It's unfair because I mainly got there because the people stronger than me moved to other realms or quit. I think it gives me an unfair advantage over the people from servers 1-10, who will never be able to get that high %.

    It's 40m credits.

No its not going to hurt anyone. Just your guildmates in forest realm. It's not the cap thats hurting them. Its you and Spec raking in most of the rewards. If you feel so bad for them, don't boost.
