Ok, rather than having two sides argue, allow me to once again try to offer a neutral, non-biased, constructive suggestions.
From reviewing everyone's input, I summarized the 4 possible solutions to the problem.
1) Do nothing- this is the most unpopular alternative and seems to be supported by the fewest number of players.
2) Remove the cap - this is the second most popular alternative, as it creates the problem of uncontrolled income growth.
3) Implement individual cap - seems to be the more popular alternative, and solves many of the problems and has the added benefit of nearly completely equalizing incomes between the servers.
4) Revamp the Banish with MattP's idea combined with my idea of diminishing returns on marginal damage - I think this is the best idea but most people have simply ignored this. The benefit of this? Not only does it balance out the servers, it also solves the problem of too much income while still making income based on formations and damage, rather than server population.
Although I would love to overtake players like MattP and Deuc with the current caps in place, I think alternative 4 is best for the interest of the game and its players, solving all problems, maintaining balance, and promoting game longevity while keeping incomes under control but still giving players the incentive to work on their Banish forms.
And this is not just a server 1 thing. People need to think of what is best for the game and all players rather than themselves. I'm on a new server and can probably make as much coins in 1 Banish at 80% boost than Herby can in a day.
