I agree that we now have much better packages to purchase now than before when the game first started, and when the new packages came out, I along with everyone else has access to them equally from that point forward.

Also given the fact that they did speed up the talent cool downs, etc from when the game originally launched, it impacted both the new and older players (moving forward). Except the older players had a much head start in their progression. You cannot compare a new player starting with a level 1 vs. an established player already at level 100 already, given the same changes (at the time in point). It does not change anything except that the newer player in the long run may spend less, but it changes nothing for both the newer and older player from that point forward.

So the fact that I or anyone else who joined the game later and passed up the older player has not much to do with the changes IMO. It has to do with acceleration of spending and dedication to playing time.
