Also given the fact that they did speed up the talent cool downs, etc from when the game originally launched, it impacted both the new and older players (moving forward). Except the older players had a much head start in their progression. You cannot compare a new player starting with a level 1 vs. an established player already at level 100 already, given the same changes (at the time in point). It does not change anything except that the newer player in the long run may spend less, but it changes nothing for both the newer and older player from that point forward.

So the fact that I or anyone else who joined the game later and passed up the older player has not much to do with the changes IMO. It has to do with acceleration of spending and dedication to playing time.

Just my 2 cents.
Well Blayd I sort of agree. Im not so worried about how all the changes effect old servers vs newer servers. But it does give new players an advantage over those who started before the changes. How big of an advantage? Im not really sure. But had those change snot taken place things would be different in so many ways. I think the changes are good ones. But dont try and say its dedication to playing the game that made the difference. It was a combination of the changes, your spending and your time that got you to where you are. You see you maybe very content playing on a small population server. ANd I see plenty of people posting about how they moved to new servers to get better, or to get away from people etc. And thats all well and good. I like playing Server 1 with its make up. Would be nice to get some influx of players. Give me Herby to beat up on daily. I think He and I would actually have a blast playing against each other with our mains on the same server. Because as much as we argue and disagree, we both are great players and would enjoy the challenge.

But this cap was to prevent players from running away with their damage and getting tons of coins and credits. TO add balance as they say.
Was it to balance it within a server or across servers?
Was this to make it more competitive within the server or in CWF?
Or was it for both?

I think either way it fails.
I dont need my server balanced with your server. I personally care less about your server. Or any other server but my server, my guild mates, my friends, my opponents on the server. And i Think thats what most people feel as well. I will never compete with blayd in CWF - nor do I care to. HE is in one league, I am in another. So why do I need things balanced between server 1 and 103?? I don't. Blayd doesnt.

SO why is there this need for a cap period? There is none. It was to punish servers high population servers to try and get people to move on to newer servers and spend more money. I mean if anyone thinks that this cap helps them catch up to blayd, they are deluding themselves. All its going to do is kill off High population servers - in a veiled hope to get some of those players on to new servers to spend more. Where instead we would spend more if we had stuff to spend on and a reason to spend. Instead we get punished for success. There was huge increase in spending everytime they add content and give us more
So stop taking away, stop limiting us, and focus on giving us more. DO that and we will spend.
