Not that it really matters, but it does fit well that 'telling stories' of your adventures increases your reputation.
I like chickenwing's solution the best: Let the credits scale with your level, sorta like GW rewards.

I wouldn't exactly consider Ragnarok nor Cretan Lab a source of reputation, as they still have not been updated to the new Reputation system (which is 5 to 10x more rep across the board).
+200 rep in Ragnarok when over 50% wins
or +48 rep from a Cretan Lab
Now factor in upkeep and everybody is LOSING reputation, even when they get first in Ragnarok, or even Banish.
(also FYI, everyone knows that Ragnarok eats up more credits than it can possibly award you) :P

lets splitt this up:
- Arena rank rewards: 10k for place, if you are not in the UA its not worth mentioning
- Arena rep cap: 500? forgot how much
- Banish x 2: IF you can do 100% damage you get 10k
- Rag: under 4k for a 45+ winning streak (or 50-500 for normal people)
- Cretan Lab: no source of rep
let me add: 10-200 rep from various sources including guild chests, casino and HP.
regarding credits:
- Arena Rank Rewards: 5m, if you are first in UA
- Banish x 2: again it depends on your placement, but on the 1.25B banish 3-5m sounds reasonable
- Ragnarok: sigh... well you know
- Noble Lady: the big momma of credits gives you up to 12m
- Daily Salary: 100k-2.2m
- Guild Benefits: i am getting 2m atm most get less
- Shrine: costs you gems, its not free
- Guild Warfare Rewards: i never looked at it but assuming its 50% of the coins = 5m credts for me
now what we see here is that for an experienced player we will see a respectable gain in rep and in credits. however, the higher the player climbs up on the ladder, the less he will need of it. remember long time ago when "you" needed 10m to unseal that runeslot and it took you weeks for multiples of them? the lady was one of the reasons it didnt take twice as long. i honestly dont think there is nothing wrong with her. but being marshal at my level, even tho i dont need reputation anymore, when i get 10, 20, 50 rep rewards from various chests or heavens palace then i feel insulted. i almost feel violated when i just spent 5 gems on the casino, praying not to get a chip and "gain" 100 rep... i dont even think we would be having this conversation if they would raise the rep rewards in chests, ragna and heavens palace. since they put those rewards into the chests the player base got significantly higher with a higher need for rep. a year ago 100 rep in a box may have excited someone but nowadays...?
as i said in a similar thread: stop trying to change the lady, she is working fine as is and the major source of credits for at least half the players and only because you dont need it anymore, doesnt mean that no one else is taking advantage of the free credits given away in a fun social event/race. instead you should be putting your focus on raising the existing rep rewards and then rethink if you still see a need for more.
I agree that the lady is a fine event, and that it works for most players. But I don't understand why events should become obsolete as you progress through the game. This is only making the game itself become obsolete as your progress. Ragnarok and the lady could have the rewards scale as you either level up or gain new titles.
