What does AOE and PVE mean?
Why does Lancelot's skill only do real damage on the first hit, and medium on the second and the third hit seem to be just regular, when it says lasts 3 rounds. Also why does the second and third hits for Lancelot increase enemy morale if they are skill hits?
How can I compete against players who have Adamanti with lots of saints and stars and I am still 300K reps from getting him since I started playing a week or two after they did and I got no rep bonus?
I have read the rune threads and got so much conflicting information. What runes do I need to put on Maria, Shayd, Lancelot, Queen P, and Calvin? What runes do I need on my main to be a tank?
Which gold heros should I skip the expense of opening rune slots, sainting and starring them because they will stink and be useless anyway?
I am sure there will be more questions later but for now lets start there. Thanks for any help you can give.

1. AOE, attack on everyone, like Adamanti, Smoulder, Queen Bryn. PVE player versus enviroment, when you fight monsters and bosses. PVP is player versus player

2. Not sure, and doesn't happen to me because I have Herja and Lightbringer 6 sets. Lance skills every round. I think his critical hit bonus is what last three rounds,not his skill attack, though.

3. you can't really, but pump up the Dextrousness/resilence runes to try to survive crits and make Queen P strong...very strong. You can also try to target him with Shayd or Cianna and hope for a stun (worked much better before they nerfed Cianna's stun rate though.....much better)

4. No simple answers. Maria and Shayd will benefit from Intenseness and Preciseness and all defensive runes. Infallibility/break seems to increase Shayd's damage but not Maria's healing (this is a point of controversy however) Resistance/block reduces damage across the board. I only use Calvin in banish and just toss a big Endurance rune on him since with Herja and LB6 he skills every round. Without that the exact amount of boosted morale is a point of debate and subtle consideration. Queen P will benefit greatly from boosted Hit Points and Skill attack. Tanks are over rated in my opinion (opinion's vary greatly on this) but I use Herja...quick kill instead of defense. But tanks will benefit from Burliness, Flintiness, Resistance, and Messiness of course.

5. Again,subject to debate and personal style. Some people love mages, some hate them. Smoulder is generally the mage who gets the least love. I've never used Dawnbringer and rarely use rhize, but that's me. And I don't use Bloodstorm, but he certainly a most loved hero and very, very strong. I just felt he was way over powered before the big change and decided long ago I wouldn't use him, just to be different. It has been a challenge getting to the Judgement gear without him though. So, it's really not a question of which hero sucks, they all have their pluses and minuses and you can go far without using some of them. But, truthfully, after a while the 15 million credits or so to open up rune slots really isn't much of an expense at all. Don't sweat it and just open the slots. You'll get more credits soon enough. Do Red Lady for a week or something or use your 10 daily gems in the shrine....or do like me just wait...and wait....and wait

2. They are only skill hits if he does them with full morale. Is this the case? From what you are describing your first hit sounds like skillattack, the second as a physical attack.
3. Flavius is a great hero to use against adamanti. Also getting skilldefense up can help. And, see above.
4. See above (Maria heals for the amount of her magic attack)
5. Opinion only; leave smoulder, dawnbringer, horemheb and Mulan. For most other heroes I have found uses. It depends on where you are in the game whether or not you need them.
