Because she would be overpowered in banish otherwise. She starts doing okay with level 9 preciseness. You should aim for level 11-12 as soon as possible. It will pay off in banish.

As ChickenWing said, she would be way over-powered if she didn't miss a good amount of time. And, as he said, getting hit rate to 10, 11, 12 helps. But, she will still miss - just not as much.Originally Posted by vaitefoder_2156743
currently with a lvl 11 preciceness my shayd has a hit rating of 215, taking her precisness from 10-11 added nearly 30% to my banish gains with just the extra stuns. the investment is well worth it and easy to make.
I concur. My Shayd has a level 12 preciseness with the bonus of a 15 hit rate saint bonus. She rocks.

Also not sure why it worked but putting Shayd in the front row made her miss less. That was the only change I made and tested it over a few days to be sure that it was really making the difference. I was told to do that by someone in my guild and thought they were silly. I tried it anyway and trust me it helps.
