From personal experience of playing game it seems that most game devs have a timetable of when they merge servers. I have no idea when the next scheduled merge will be and it would be immensely inappropriate for me to know. All I can tell you there will be a 2-3 day notice.
Tynon reps have already said-ain't gonna happen.
^This. And you can't merge earlier servers into later ones. Players like Blayd are unusual rather than the norm and forcing newer players up against older ones will kill a merge quicker than you can say Tynon.

If I can restart with all the new packages, I would have so much more power and gems at my disposal. But this is only a dream that will never be realized.
But back to the original posting, it has been a while since the first round of mergers happened. I think it is time to start hearing more about future of other servers as well.
Patiently waiting.
Yes i totally agree. I would much rather see dev's merge servers than to see another announcement of a new one being opened. Perhaps the dev's could setup a poll on the forum and make a decision based on what the majority of us actually want. make it a multi question poll, something like 'would you liek to see more server mergers take place?' yes or no, then follow it up with another question asking 'if yes to more mergers, what do you think would be a good range of servers to be merged?' in grouping of 10 (ie s1-s10, s11-s20, s21-s30 etc) or groupings of 5 (ie s1-s5, s6-s10, s11-s15 etc).
Maybe another question should also be if people would like servers of differing time zones to be merged...tho I would hope if they did they would look to change times of events.
Anyways, IF they did do a poll of this nature they might have a better idea of what we they players and payers would like to see happen.

It was mentioned before that realms have different timezones. This would allow servers to be fuller while a single server could accommodate a range of players all over the world.
This is a great idea. There is no reason why you couldn't have multiple time zones on a single server with realm (with their own banish anyway). The realms can co-exist on the same server. Plus not to mention for GW, Server 1 - 10 has 12 cities per realm. So again creating independence from realm to realm. The only thing that would be universal would be UA, sailing, and Ragnok.
Off topic:
The only concern I see is if Tynon's servers are up to the load. They primarily run on VM's and so this may need a significantly larger VM or go physical and better performing storage system to handle the I/O. These things could run pretty expensive. If they create 1 or 2 large server to accommodate 3 - 5k players and support further growth, they would also have to properly architect their front end and separate out functional loads. Again, a lot of money to be spent if they want to do this. In conclusion, I don't see this happening. How can Tynon make this into a 1million player game, or even 100k player game and have enough revenue that they can sustain themselves be significant profitable.
Tynon would need substantial ROI on the investment to make this happen (which I don't see it happening unless they get a large donation from Mark Zukerburg).
