... Why not just have a Calvin with beefed up stats or retains morale at the cost of attack strength or something. That seems to fall in line with a lot of what Tynon has already done with new heroes.
but you just said you want them weak for balance...
but hey, i like the piercing-willbreaker idea. brynn doesnt need a makeover, she just needs to do a lot more damage to make a difference.
but since you are talking about ezekiel/herja, i would love to see ezekiel do something that differenceates him from herja other than more defense. so i think it would be great if he would become the ultimate debuffer/buffer so for example restores/drains morale but instead could do for example random healing or random stunning. like there is a 20% chance to stun target while drain morale or a 20% chance to restore HP and morale... something like that.
EDIT:
tbh though, i dont think that calvin needs a makeover coz if you get lucky in formations setup then the rendering a hero useless for an entire match is a huge advantage since he can skill every round with the right spirit (remember if he skills first then the normal hit from the one he just drained puts him right back on 100+ morale).
I like these suggestions Chicken, because at the end-game, the initial morale is so high it's off the charts that not even a 14-star Flavius can counter (Flavius is not effective until after he's pounded by every initial skill attack ....... if he survives. Boom adam, boom Alci, boom Theseus -- dead Flavius. GG.)
There is no counter except Calvin, but...
#1-- there's more than just Adam (Alci, KingT, etc)
#2-- who is dumb enough to put their Adam (or other power-skill toon) in front to be eaten by Pompey??

Cuddles' Law: The volume of a player's whine is directly proportional to his/her VIP level.
Yes exactly. Flavius grows to be ineffective. Mine is pretty sturdy and can usually stand the first round of attacks, but he is rather useless against morale retention heroes. He needs to strike first in those situations so that he has attacked twice when the second round begins. That means he is frontline in those situations. But in those situations, he can rarely take the hits.
i agree with this. but what i really want to see is a good mage, and not a stunner. most of the mages are stunners and only a handful of them are even good. a mage that could turn the tides of a good formation that doesnt need to stun.
an insane high hit rating by default and extremely high magic attack and very high skill def/phy def.
back to the point, a piercing thrust morale down would be beastly. my top row is herja/adam/king t. so that could hurt alot for adam and king t. once i get second sub, i'd put bloodstorm back in just cause he doesnt need to rely on herja/ezekiel. cause she would probably be dead by then, khan would be a good choice too. so far the only unique attack is general alcibiades frontal assualt and i like it like that, even though its a great attack. so in a way i would prefer an entire new attack, but i couldnt think of a new AoE attack to give to a new hero to make them just as unique and not be utter crap lol
I suggest a All in One hero:
Dame: Skill + phy + mage attack, AOE
Effect: stun + morale down to zero + increase critical in 3 turn.
