Like anything else here, what works for 1 will probably not work for another, I play on S6 & S11 and had to use to totally different formation to win, everything hinges on star, saints, gems you have on where so a generic cookie answer never works;
On S11 this worked

You will notice that Form 2 and 3 are just moved around but for the Monsters that were right before The Spirit of Dragon King, I found that Form 2 was not working and changed to Form 3 and found that I could beat them.
I still have not had any luck VS the Spirit of Dragon King but I will try the Forms that were posted here

I posted this almost a month ago. I think it gets overlooked by people posting more than 1 formation. Either way this form worked for everyone in my guild who has gotten to this quest.
I can assure you with proper runes veng12 on adam/ and a good starred maria you will beat him a few tries. Alci has magic resist. Put him to protect maria. She goes down then so does adam.
QP comes in after your main has been abused. When i posted this i was a generic 188m power. A person in the guild beat him when he was only 150m and I coin he dont. So a more generic base power of 150m I would say is needed to beat him. Good Luck.
That guy who did it with 150 m must have been lucky in the casino or something to have gotten maria.

When i say I coin, Im pushing VIP9 hes only vip3. He got all his judge spirits from lab drops. And actually I think he did get maria from casino. LOL!!
Thank you! I got through Spirit of Dragon King quest OK, but the next one, Force of Giant Dragon, was coming up against those seemingly unstoppable minions (defeat all monsters).
