it depends on your sancts. with the right sancts any hero can be tank. the ultimate tanks in game are still your main, ahmose and saff. i wouldnt put blood on the front lines and put him somewhere in the back as a "cleaner upper" behind adam or on a row you want to get cleared first. he is also a great substitute option because he is all you said he is: retains morale (without herja), is anti flavi/herja, single hitter, great dodger and big damage. real tanks dont need a high dodge rate but "survivors" who can stand to the end do. as to my personal experience i have to advise you not to use him as a tank, especially at higher levels
