I am not sure how the formation is chosen. I am usually in my Banish formation when I sign up and at the time that the tournament is opened (noon on Tuesday I think) so I can not tell if it is set at either of those times. It would be nice to know.
i am not sure either how its chosen, but once i started in CW with a powered down form (ofc i was late that day and lost the first 2 matches) and another time it started with my banish form in CW. so IF they cant fix it the way that we get the "formation" window right away when signing up, i'd suggest to at least put us into the last known form (it might not be the strongest form but clearly better than with your pants down.
but let me emphasize this: the best solution would be to give is the option to change forms right away after signing up (i dont see any reason why to hold that back in the first place unless they try to force us to be online starting 2hrs before the preliminaries)
