    Question Help Needed!!

So I started playing again, a few days ago after, quitting the beta a couple days in. I have a few questions that I hope someone will help me with.

    1. Is it better to upgrade all of your heroes gear evenly? Or focus on getting one heroes gear to a high level first?
    2. Where is it best to put certain heroes in a formation? eg. Mages and Archers in the back, Cavalry at the front? Infantry in middle?
    3. Early on what talents are the best to research? And what levels would be good to aim for?
    4. What are the best runes to put on heroes?
    5. How do you get Saint I or Saint IV etc. heroes?

That's all I can think of for now. I'd appreciate it if someone would be able to answer them.
Thanks and see ya on the battlefield!

Each person is going to have a slightly different answer to each of those questions.
    1. I like to upgrade gear sort of evenly. Mages don't need spirits so I do them last. I still upgrade them though because I sometimes switch a mage out for a power hitter.
    2. Depends on your saintings and runes. You want a front row that can take a beating and survive. Some fare better than others. Look at each heroes defense stats in the hero window. Best stats in front.
    3. Do them evenly. Do them as soon as the cooldown expires. These are great power and you should save up for Thursday and use gems to speed the cooldowns.
    4. Again it depends on your hero. Skill heros need morale, skill attack, physical attack. All heroes need hit rating, health points, and durability. Power hitters like Lancelot or Adamanti and your main need Critical.
    5. On Tuesday refresh the tavern like crazy and collect spirit points redeem them for cards. Use the free broker card draw daily. In the hero window click sanctify and to the right at the bottom you will see the odds of a saint working. If you click the little arrow next to the number of cards you can stack several cards together to increase your chances. Complete the transaction and you will get a sainting. Some saintings are gold those are best, some purple and some blue. Blues are sad and give little increases. Each heroes card in the tavern costs a different amount of spirits and you can saint a cheaper one like Dawnbringer then transfer alot of saints to one with no saints and stars. This will save you spirits or coins later.
Join a good guild and get a lot of help from your guildies and do the test battles in rankings then look at their profiles to see what runes your most powerful players use on each toon. See what different toons do and how they fit into your plans. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply! That should get me decently set up for now.
I am slightly confused, when you said:

So I can saint one hero and then later on remove that saint and put it on a different hero? Other than that I understand most of it pretty well.

Lets say for instance you have Genghis Khan that you want to saint/star for whatever reason.
His card in the tavern is 2600 spirits per card.

However Dawns is only 800. The goal is to get Dawns card as Highly sainted as you can before "transferring him to Khan. there's another thread that gives more info on what you'll lose saint and star wise. If you don't do a perfect transfer you'll get new randomized saints for khan but you paid a much cheaper price per card. If memory serves its about a 33% for gold/purple/blue. The goal is to get to Dom saint wise and for me at least into purple stars.

Then there's your choice if you want to perfect transfer it over with gems, this is obviously the better option just expensive gem wise. You can add your saints and if its one you don't like take it off and Re Saint until you get your perfect hero in your eyes. then Gem it over to Khan or whomever.

This works well for anyone that spirits cost more than 2k imo. Adams a bit on the break even side.
You can only transfer if the hero is the same color and has more stars than the transferee. Also the saints reset on the first hero being Dawn and overwrite any to the new hero this being Khan.

So don't star up and/or Saint a hero very high that you want to use this technique on. you'll just be wasting those cards. If you do have cards for them already saved, keep saving them for after the transfer then add them on I would recommend.

    Hope this helps

Bit confusing right now, but it'll probably make more sense as I progress in the game and get better. Thanks for the info, I'm sure it'll come in handy when the time comes!
