I'd say Adamanti works decently with single target heroes. Maybe it just turns out that a hit from adam and lance could normally kill a hero against players from my server.

Well I wouldn't dream of dropping Adamanti, but he my only skill hero with good offensive saints. That being said, I have a weird Adam/Aphrodite combo going on anyways so I start with adam, when he dies I'm in a tanky single target lineup with tons of healing.
