    Arrow Realm Govenor/Mod/Supervisor

Just an idea we had that would help to sort the problems in chat, control realm events, etc.
Probably NOT an ordinary player, though. I could see how having the Gov in your alliance could be abused.
I also realize that nobody is going to put a paid staff member into a game as a babysitter, but it could be done. One person per server, controlling 5 realms. One of my members enlightened me to the fact that WoW and other RPG's like this have Server Mods that overlook things. Just wanted to throw that out there. I know it won't be done, but it certainly is a good idea.

Sounds like a good idea, I'll recommend this.

It sounds like a great idea, the only consideration will have to be that WoW is a pay to play game, so they have a LOT more revenue to pay such people. I like the idea, just not absolutely sure it's feasible.

While the idea of having someone to monitor the chat and cut down on some of the more 'interesting' comments we have all seen is all well and good . . .

Why not remove the WC from Guild chat? and remove it from the banner?

That way we have a way to 'escape' the WC, it won't show up in guild chat and it won't suddenly flash across our screens.

Guild and realm chat are separate - why can't WC be as well?

    Suggestions for the chat system:
    1. Move personal gains (like "Credits +400, Experiences +193, ..." etc.), and personal/guildies' accomplishments (like investments, arena winning streaks, recruitment of heroes, purchases of chests) to the Guild tab.
    2. Stop the flashing of a tab button after x seconds, and add for example an underlining (when that tab receives a message that you can't see in your current tab).

This way you can stay in Guild chat whenever there's too much going on in Realm chat, without the flashing of the Realm tab button getting annoying. (Whether the spam in Realm chat gets moderated or dealed with in another way, or not.)

Speaking of revenue please add more boss times so that working people can play fairly if the boss times are during their working hours, otherwise VIP 4-5 like me have no chance to gain reputation if we are at work except for the shops and paying money for it in guild contributions once a day (and that pathetic player fight rep cap limit of like 200 or whatever it is). Seriously I have boss fights at 9 am and 2 pm during work hours if I only do boss on the weekends people like me wont play the game and you wont get revenue period.
Yes and I am rank 2 in arena and in top 5 on my server, please listen to what I am saying here - 5 boss times per day limit 2 bosses per day. Fair enough?

I think that with the right person doing that job, it would add an entire new level of game-play to the game. This person could directly control the realm event's, score those events, announce ranks, hold competitions, etc. The idea's are endless

Why not have a designated person in each realm that can monitor it, and if it is needed, they can get the main monitor in to come help assist the situation. I would also say that maybe the monitor should be able to change his chat colour, so that when he is on in official business, the rest of the players know he is real and not a fake claiming to be. We had that issue last night with a real mod on the realm and the people (kids) just being ignorant and very rude to him.

That's basically what I'm suggesting, except that you would need 5+1 (6) per server, which I assume makes it less approachable to the people that make these decisions. Instead of 6 people, you can easily make it 1 person or even 2 people (alternating shifts) and save a ton of overhead. Each realm doesn't need a person to be watching 24/7, but more likely could watch all 5 realms at once. That is completely fair for both gamer's and operator's. Think about it. 40 servers, 5 realms each server plus that one to oversee the 5 realm bosses... wow. 240 employees would be needed to oversee the operations of the realms in Tynon... Not likely to happen lol
BUT, using my suggestion, 40 people seems much more agreeable and affordable. Or you could simply make it a volunteer position.. I'm sure someone would love the job lol

It makes ya wanna go hmmmmm
