no, that's great kaisim. This post, together with the others makes it very clear to me now, what happened. Thanks a lot guys, helpful as usual.

sure wish they would change the mechanics of it though.

The banish mechanics is wrong in more ways.
    Final round punishes inactive realms.
Cap in place punishes active realms.
Both aren't working well as intended in my book.

Rage mode works fine for the majority of players.

You just have to find ways to work with it.

I get they want to create some fairness or prevent a strong player in an empty guild from just gobbling up rewards. Okay, but if it gets to 15 minutes and the boss isn't done, then just end the damn thing and don't advance the boss. No need to drag it on for 45 pointless minutes.
You can always get out of Banish and let it run for the whole hour in the background if you do not care to get the 10m coins. If you do want the 10m coins then stay in banish and do something else outside the game for a while.

thanks to all for the information. I got a handle on how it works now. Me and my "friends" were able to push to the next boss. But, time constraints don't allow most of us to do it everyday.....ah well.....at least I understand the actual mechanism.
