Morgan, I do not appreciate being trolled on the Tynon forums, least of all by you who should know better. Remember as I said almost a dozen times, and like the email we sent to davemata: we used the block feature. It was the first solution we did. After finding such solution to be counterproductive, we then took it to the next phase: ignored it and screenshot / reporting, again nothing. (remember, you can't screenshot the items that you block)

It would be nice to know how to take these things through the proper Tynon channels. However seeing the nature of Morgan and davemata's responses (on both this issue and the racism issue), it becomes apparent that the proper channels are broken.

I'm not trolling you I am trying to help you. You say blocking didn't work well I am under the impression that I think you may have used it then unblocked them when curiosity got the better of you or you decided to give as good as you got. When everyone says ignore them, it's not for an hour, a day or a week, it's for good.

Now instead of accusing a group of people of trolling who have given you all the advice to overcome this as you need to stop turning it into a drama and just concentrate on yourself and your real in game friends and let the ones who have been harassing you stew.

And before you continue to dismiss my advice I have played these types of games for years and I have been in the exact same position as you are now. I ignored everyone's advice to block and ignore my tormentor, just kept biting back. Guess what? My misery went on for months up until I stopped having anything to do with them. Amazingly it stopped and not long after that person quit the game.

So stop being so stubborn for your own sake.

Victim-Blaming (as a means to neutralization) is an age-old trolling tactique that precedes the term (of trolling).

So stop being so stubborn for your own sake.

We blocked them for over two weeks before we screenshot/reported anything.
Then we ignored them (completely) and screenshot/reported them from January to the May.
Then we ignored them (completely) and sent mails to davemata in May.
Then we ignored them (completely) and Quit.

It's no longer my server. I've moved on. I am here on this forum for the following reasons:
1) so it doesn't happen again (so Tynon can deal with it properly like the other games do)
2) to find out what the proper channels are (incase we missed a step)
3) to give a voice to those who remained silent and quit
4) to share my (and others') experience that was similar to the racism original post

and why do I do any of the above four?
-- because I care about both Tynon and Tynon players. Not just in word but in actions. I spoke up.

If my persistence in pursuing the above ^^ makes me stubborn, then so be it.


PS-- Kaisim I remember when you first joined these forums, you called Morgan a troll (and you even created a whole new thread on it but was shut down. Comments were deleted and threads were locked.)

It appears to me that they are trying to divert attention to Stephanie and ignore the problem. If Stephanie used or did not use the block feature is no ones concern but hers. She is pointing out a serious problem and no one seems to have the courage to do something about it. And who really believes Tynon can protect personal information. Tynon may not give the information freely but they could be hacked and every players information stolen. Never say never.

Courage comes in many forms, one being admitting you are wrong. If you or anyone is naive enough to think that trolling does not happen in games then you are very much off the mark.

Since this thread is rapidly heading in the direction of blaming Tynon's ToS for someone's harassment, I am closing it. If you don't use the block button you can't blame Tynon for their continued harassment.
