An Odd Ultimate Arena Scenario, the Rank 30 Dead Zone

What they are saying is that there is a player ranked 30th (last place) in the Ultimate Arena and also happens to be ranked 5th in realm arena. So no one can attack that player in the Ultimate Arena because no one can see him in there due to be 30th. No one can attack him in realm arena because he is ranked 5th there and 11th place can only see up to 6th (Ranks 1-10 can only see the Ultimate arena).

No one can see him in either arena, therefore he cannot be attacked in the Ultimate Arena and cannot be moved out of the Ultimate Arena. This effectively makes only 29 slots available for players in the Ultimate Arena. It has nothing to do with how strong the inactive player is.

Hope this clarifies it for those he don't seem to get what this thread is about.

Exactly this, thanks. Effectively there is no way to remove an inactive player from the rank 30 ultimate arena spot if their realm arena rank is 5 or higher.

There is no way to remove inactive players ranked in the top 5 in the Realm arena unless they are if they are ranked ahead of an active player from any realm in the Ultimate Arena. If there is an active player from another realm below them, then that player could bring some one that is ranked 10-6 in the realm of the inactive player down and that player can attack and beat the inactive player and now it will be in range of some one that is not in the Ultimate Arena.

There is one way that Tynon could remedy this. It is a 2-step process:

- People who enter the Ultimate Arena need to start at the bottom so that others move up when someone enters. This allows moving people down as we enter the UA and fight for a spot.

- The realm rank needs to reflect the UA rank. This means someone 1st in their Ultimate Arena would necessarily be 1st in their Realm Arena. On the other hand, someone 30th in the UA would necessarily be 10th in RA. In other words, as someone passes someone else in the UA, they also need to switch realm rank with them. This means that people low in the UA can be hit by those players trying to get in the UA.

I still don't see the issue. Eventually someone in the Realm arena will be able to beat this inactive player. This will take them out of 30th in UA.

It's not about having the power to beat someone... it's about never being able to even see them or have a chance to fight them. Not sure if I could give a simpler explaination than Revan's. Read it again.

You missed the part about him being 5th in the Realm Arena. That means that 11th place in Realm Arena cannot see him. 11th in Realm Arena can only see 10th through 6th places. Players in the Ultimate Arena cannot see the Realm Arena nor the guy in 30th place in the Ultimate Arena. No one can even fight the guy in either arena, therefore he cannot be taken out of the Ultimate Arena.

No, I didn't miss that part. So, what you're trying to say is that no one in the Realm Arena can beat 10th thru 6th so they can see this guy. So, the players from 5th to 10th are inactive - at least that's what I'm getting out of this. Still, eventually someone will have enough tower to get to where they can see him. And, if 10th thru 6th aren't inactive, why aren't they taking him out? If they're above him in UA they simply need to power down so someone can put them below him, then take him out. Yes, it would take some coordination inside the realm, but it can be done.

I am #2 in my Realm and #7 in Ultimate. The #1 in my Realm is #18 in Ultimate and I have 10 times more power than he does.

No, I didn't miss that part. So, what you're trying to say is that no one in the Realm Arena can beat 10th thru 6th so they can see this guy. Trying to beat 10th through 6th in realm arena to try to take out the 5th spot in realm arena doesn't work since you immediately get put into ultimate arena after taking one of the top 10 spots in realm arena. Once in UA, you take the spot of the player you beat (which isn't the rank 30 guy, since you couldn't see him in the first place from rank #11). And since no one in ultimate arena can see UA rank 30, he is uncontestable there too.

my son (killerjoe) is right on this one and i just checked with him about his predicament in arena. the waterside/server he is on is so dead that whoever is on the water side and makes it into the ultimate arena will stay there, as in all players that are in the UA from the water realm are now inactive and new players will enter at rank 10 and can only get kicked out of UA from active players. he switched to the water side very late while chasing down 100/1k gem stakes and leadercards. i explained to him that it doesnt matter if he beats or can beat the #1 of his RA because the UA payment is better and he gets to fight active players.
so yes it really makes no difference, but also correct that some players can not be removed from the UA in certain situations.
now to prevent this from happening there is a really easy solution:
when entering the UA from your RA 10th spot then you should enter the UA at rank 30 regardless who you just beat and then work yourself further up within the UA, even if that means to beat the same players again.
