Log out and take their 3 to 5k financial hit or try to sell it and get a fraction back of what they put it to a player eager to use their account and have fun with it. Accounts are bought and sold on Evony 24/7. If people didn't buy, sell, and trade them, then evony would have about 10 players per server instead of hundreds. So I will disagree respectfully of course, but it comes down to them not wanting anything to be traded or sold because nobody is to make money on their games unless it is them. Yes, they ban players for selling stuff, however they ban maybe 2% of people, so if you ban 1 you need to ban all, but that can't happen or they would make no money. So in short, this game is run mafia style... no trading without their say so and they are free to ban anyone for any reason or no reason at all. I don't see this ever changing on Evony or Tynon. One day the developers will learn that when accounts for example are sold, the person that buys usually ends up continuing to spend money on that account so they would just be making more money. Food for thought.

It doesn't have anything to do with alts/cheating, if alts are what they wanted to remove then they would restrict logins via ip address to limit people to 1 to 3 household accounts or whatever. It's all about the $$$.
Doesn't matter if there will be 10 people if accounts weren't buying/selling it's in the ToS, therefore illegal. Let me explain; you don't rent a car, run about in it topping up the fuel then to recoup yourself financially, sell it. You know you don't own the car and selling it you'll be breaking the law. Well Tynon/Evony accounts are the virtual equivalent to rental cars. You buy gems in return to power up your account but this is the crucial bit, you never own your it and remains the property of uCool. It's in the ToS if you've bothered to read it. Incidentally, there have been cases of accounts closed when it's been discovered selling/buying has occurred. uCool also work closely with PayPal so they can easily find out too, you have been warned.

And how would it be about the $$$'s-uCool lose money over illegal account selling!

Oh since you've done your research, you would know Evony has an IP limit now. If more than 3 accounts are run at the same time all of them are suspended for a few hours. Hopefully they will introduce here in Tynon too.

Finally as an epic necro, time to close it.
