But Blood has the whole Continous Rage/Rally Strike thing going on, making his Death's Smile bonus skill very deadly. Once he skills he will keep on doing so, almost guaranteeing a big hit as his hit points are low. But with Princess A, you have to hope she skills just as she is about to die. She would have been better with Continuous Rage minus the Death's Smile instead. An early purple hero who skilled repeatedly would be pretty strong. I can see where she would have provided much disappointment.

Scipio was a big disappointment. It took me ages to get him and he is useless.

    Disappointments:
    Purple:
    - Princess; nothing interesting about her.
    - Knight Gawain; no idea why he was added.

    Gold:
    - Smoulder; Could have been interesting, lacked the juice to really make a difference.
    - Mulan; Lacks the juice to be interesting, very unfortunate because she could be great against flavius.
    - Pompey; Only good for adding power and when allowed to multiply heroes in the team like Maria; not tanky enough against all the AOE imo.
    - King Horemheb; Not tanky enough to prefer over AOE heroes.
    - Scipio; Lacks juice for me at this time.

    Surprises:
    Purple:
    - Saffie; Got to love that sheep and her skill, great hero that can be used for a long, long time in the game.
    - QueenP; Must be the ultimate winner of Tynon, great hero!
    - Flavius; I hate him and so he must be in this row as well. He is the thorn in my opponents team.
    - Herja; It would have been a different game without her. Might still be interesting to see what would happen if there is a CW which does NOT allow her support.

    Gold:
    - Rhize; I love his damage and he can take a good punch with the right runes and equip. Not expensive.
    - Alci; Does incredible damage and looks good doing it.
    - Bryn; Yes unreliable, but when she does her job right, you can beat someone much stronger then you, also can take a punch.

He is very useful when you are fighting a high powered opponent. He is more of a strategic play taking out a hero from line up vs. doing big damage and hurting someone.

But Smoulder, I had forgotten about him. He didn't disappoint me though because a hallowed and former guild mate who was much further ahead once famously said in our guild in an answer to whether or not Smoulder was good, "Rhize can clean toilets, Dawnbringer can be the mop, and Smoulder can be the toilet," so..I never had much hope for him ever.
Lol. Must have been fun when he was around.

I actually liked Dawn when I started out, but the limitation on hitting only the 1 verticle line has its draw backs. Not to mention that it doesn't hit very hard either.

Khan was definitely a disappointment, but I guess I had heard more chatter about him before I got him so my expectation was less than Queen B. But yeah, Khan shouldn't be weaker than Queen P, but he definitely is. If not for his value in labby, he would be number one on my list as well. He is definitely a very, very high number two.

I never did recruit King H., because I heard so much slag talk about him.

I toyed with the notion of using Rhize more, but I got this weird thing about Valla....I just can't quit her....

This is the same with Rhize and King T. Rhize hits harder but King T keeps the morale. As far as not recruiting King H, you are missing the bonus that he gives you at the Shine. You should recruit all the heroes from the Royal Challenge since they all give you a Shrine bonus.
