    Mages and skill attack buffs

Please help me clear this up once and for all. There seems to be as many arguments on each side and both think they are right. I know that Magic attack buffs increase magic attack damage. But if a mage has another ability as their "skill", like stun, does a skill attack rune, adept, or sapphires in their spirit sockets increase the chances of stunning?

Sapphires, skill attack runes and the like will have 0 effect on mages. You can try it out for yourself if you like.

Mage skill attacks are a bit of misnomer, they are a type of skill but it refers to the magic attack each mage hits with. As for increased stunning rates, those are fixed. You can improve your chances of landing a stun by upping the hit rate. A good preciseness is a must for mages.

you can actually check this for yourself by embedding sapphires into the mage spirit you will see the spirits power go up but your own power will not change
