i actually enjoy bidding on the underdog and then get get 2-8k instead of the 450 or whatever (14k tickets once with side-bet). but i can see how it's rather exhausting having to bid every 5 minutes and stare at the screen for 2hrs doing nothing after you had an early 'out'.
a VIP level based autobid would be a nice possibility, i agree. however, it would have to give you choices, like autobid on the higher power, statistically winner, previous tournament winner, underdog, etc

or maybe let you pick your favorites and place your autobids on those thruout the tourney
