I'd like to see a new type of tank. Instead of simply reducing damage to himself (like Saffron/Ahmose), he would have an aura.... All allies take 25% less damage, and he suffers 50% of the damage negated in this way. So let's say Adam hits all your guys for 50000 a piece, they would instead take 37500 each and the tank would take 75000 damage onto himself. Maybe give him a passive +20% HP bonus (instead of a defense stat like the other passive talents) to bulk him up. He would be a big guy (like Alci) and have a hammer. Bulk him up and stick him with Maria, and your overall party longevity would be great.
A golden Flavius-type unit that instead of draining morale, would reduce healing effects by 35%. His damage would be poor (like Flavius) but he would hit all targets, not just mages. Not sure if 35% would warrant him any use, but 50% may be too much and Maria wouldn't see much use because of it. This would also make a great boss skill to slow down Penth/Khan combos.
On the topic of healing, give Smoulder 20% life steal. 20% of all damage he deals would heal him -- easy to scale at any part of the game, and might make him a viable, bulky mage.
