switching heroes and gear problems

I have certain heroes for certain tasks being similar with the same gear (i.e. adam for pvp in exchange for lance for banish, maria with aphro, etc ). yesterday i notice one of my mages in tank armor, adam in mage armor and my debuffer with the tanks relic and adams helm. ok i think, it was a fluke and i messed up somehow, so i switch it all back as it was before and today when i check after GW t get ready for CW its all mixed up again and i wasted another 30 minutes switching it all back as i need it.
are others having the same problems or got any idea why this is happening?


ps: i am not trying to switch melee with mages or so and there is no leftover gear in my inventory. i am seeing a relic switched with one hero and a weapon switched with another while the BP is on a 3rd and the other 2 switched stuff with others. herja and my main who i never switch are in normal condition and nothing ever switched out

When I was lagging, switching gears also messed up on me. Somehow instead of 'remove all', it removed half the stuff from a character and took another half from a different character when I equipped it to someone else. Only realized what had happened after a refresh.

This kind of problem is caused by your gear that is not on the heroes in your formation. You want your extra gear to be in your bank. If it is in your inventory or on a hero that is not in your formation, this is when problems occur. This is because when you switch a hero for another, it puts random available gear on the hero placed in your form. Gear is unavailable if it is used by a hero in your formation, or if it is in your bank. If the switched hero already has a piece of equipment on him, then he won't take any new gear at all.

They really should make it so that when you switch two heroes, they exchange whatever they have on them.

i drag one hero on top of the other to save time. so as i get your point of what you are saying, that would have left me with partial gear on some heroes but i had no open slots on any heroes

i know exactly what you are talking about and i have no extra gear on me, all the 3rd subgear is in the bank at level 0

DO you sometimes remove 2 heroes before adding new ones? This could result in gears being picked randomly on the two heroes that are available.

never, one by one and always 7 in the formation.

I have has both my gear and runes totally scrambled a couple of times

Maybe you are such a fast clicker that the information sent to the server is not the one you atually do. That could certainly happen in the case of even a minor lag or limited Internet connection on your side.

In my case it has happened when I was switching gears or runes and the internet went down. When it came back everything was totally scrambled.
