why does is not save GW form after I switch it around before I join

I had my damage heroes on the bottom row and decided to switch them to the top row before I joined GW just after round 1 (defending), yet it still saved them on the bottom? when is the final save point for this?

did you use the formation screen inside the GW? If so did you push the formation button in it? If you did both then next time refresh right after you make the changes and then check to see if they are correct. Oops this is incorrect, was thinking of CW. Sorry

once you clicked on "join" it saves your formation for the entire GW, if you didnt click before, then the only thing i can think off is that maybe you clicked too fast on "join" after changing your form and you where lagging or sync was off or maybe the server slightly ahead of you or something and it didnt get a chance to update.

guild leaders have that problem sometimes when they do last minute changes to GW and usually if there is only 1 minute or less left it doesnt accept changes or only partially.
