You don't go into a store and use a five fingered discount to get what you desire just because it's above your price range? No of course you don't because it'll be breaking the law and likely to see you end up in jail. Everyone knows you'll look pretty dumb if you tried to justify it to the arresting officer by going "Sir/Ma'am, I only stole it because I couldn't afford it and it isn't fair that others who can, have it.
This excuse was used (poorly) in Evony and looked at what happened there. Saying that you need to 'suppliant' your game just because those who have the cash to sink into the game are both unwise (it's their choice where they spend their cash and certainly nothing to do with us) and causing a game imbalance is pretty dumb. If I'm honest the only imbalance is the ever increasing alts, it spoiled Evony and it's spoiling Tynon. I'm a realist so I am well aware there will be alts regardless, but justify them? Ummm no.
Until uCool really look at ever increasing alts and alt guilds, it'll be a problem that is and will cause people to quit. No one likes a bully and worse a bully who cheats. Evony has a far smaller player base than it did a few years back because uCool turned a blind eye to the rampant bots and alts and allowed the bullies to terrorise the servers. Turning it into a dull, two-dimensional game instead of the team building thrill ride it was in 2009/10.
I really can't do much about people who are naughty in game, I don't moderate the game only the forum. I'm hoping that uCool finally do something about it and put an end it to it, banning the worse offenders. It will set an example and prove uCool are serious about their ToS. As it stands most players consider it nothing more than a several paragraphs of nonsense, which it isn't.
As for robbing and sinking in Pirates. Yes that was the intention to grab that map that's sailing or docked because it's the opposite to the one your guildie has for a sail. However, to be an ass about it and viciously repeatedly sink a player or guild because you don't like them isn't playing at war, it's digital terrorism.
