CWF powering down not a bad idea!

So I just fought Scorn in CWF and I must say thank you for trying to give a slight opportunity even though he still had 96% hp left

    Game 1: http://www.tynon.com/replays/4342863
    Game 2: http://www.tynon.com/replays/4343914
    Game 3: http://www.tynon.com/replays/4345030

I hear and see how many people complain about throwing fights and how it 'defeats' the purpose of cwf to see who is strongest.
You all talk about how much these top players with the rewards at the end of CWF are hitting the ceiling so quickly.
I see you all talk about how it messes with the betting system.
IMO, I think that it is good for 'top players' to give 'smaller players' the opportunity to try to perform better by 'powering down' for them, even if it defeats the purpose of the tournament.
With the 'top players' hitting the ceiling so quickly, imo I think that it is quite nice that they 'throw' the fights for others in the later stages of the tournament and give someone else the chance to get better rewards.
I don't care how it messes with the 'betting system', as long as other players get the chance to get rewards and catch up, it would be nice for a change.
Besides I don't have a chance on CWF and will NEVER have a chance in CWF.

PS: I know it's only the first stages of this current CWF...

    Wat

Messing up everyone's betting is ok because one person almost got a couple hundred more tickets? Out of all the reason to throw a fight (and I do accept one of them)... this one was the least thought through.

    No one bids on prelims.

Scorn only powered down so he can get into a different bracket.

I perfectly understand that no one bids during preliminaries and specifically said how this kind of thing will mess with the betting system at the LATER STAGES OF CWF.
And whether or not Scorn only powered down to get into a different bracket made me think that perhaps in the later stages of the tournament that it would be nice that people who are hitting the ceiling to quickly to throw a fight or two for someone else to catch up to where they are.
You may need to choose one person to go with and bet the other one, several times in the finals has this got me +3000 tickets in one fight, so consider this people should be able to do what they like in CWF, you just need to change the tactics in the way you are betting.
Of course this is just all my opinion...

Its unlikely that Scorn would power down for CW prelims, why should he? and seeing as he wins it quite often he has no need to try to get into a different category.
What more than likely happens is that he, like many others cannot be bothered to sit at his computer for 2 hours while the prelims are happening. I certainly don't. Why waste 2 hours of quality evening time playing a game that no longer holds any interest because the Developers do nothing. I qualify in top 16 without bothering to change form so there is no way I'm missing primetime television. I also know I can't win and rarely make top 8 so mostly don't even bother with the later stages any more.

Lets face it, at or near the top the game is pointless, boring and a total waste of time.

That's just silly. He doesn't need easier opponents. He can win CW with very little effort so he doesn't need to get easier opponents. There is nobody can beat him.
ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz. Wake me up again when they add new content.
