You'd still want the tickets you earn from making it to the third day, lookin for the chips after all and at least with tickets you can pick what you want.

Obviously. He had a crap colour chip showing - ucool needs to fix this - -and it just wasnt worth getting a permanent 5% debuff for some crap chips. This has all been explained at length already.

So let me get this st8 those of us that play the game correctly should be alright with you and others throwing fights because you don't like a chip that you have.

Correct way to play the game?: Wrong! - You should be grateful for the rewards that you receive at the end, I wouldn't reject something that could potentially make me stronger even in the slightest way possible. Besides, I'm sure your main is Seraph V, all heroes have 18 stars (majority), then whats the point of even getting up to finals, rather just throw fights in semi-finals (you still get a good deal of tickets) but finals is where smaller people want to get the necessary tickets to become significantly stronger and doesn't help to people who are 'allowed to rightfully throw their fights'.
