Why South Africa? I don't know, just the place that I grew up.. Although when I'm finished studying I will probably go live in Japan.
What we eat? Basically all the normal food.. try
Local food? Pap and chakalaka

Aren't Dingo's from Australia? Anyways as a pet I wouldn't mind owning a lion and ride it to school everyday, unfortunately I got 3 amazing dogs, two terriers and a french poodle.
This discussion is going to be moved to off topic very quickly :P
AH yes Dingo is from Australia! My bad. South Africa you have Hyena's which are not very friendly, even if you raise it from a pup.
Also why live in Japan! You like radiation? Are you Japanese?
True it is off topic, but I always wanted to go to South Africa one day...
But going back to topic, Level 120 is an eye opener!
To be honest I have never come across someone raising a hyena from a young age.
Nasty animals that do nothing but cackle at you..
Why live in Japan? No, I don't like radiation.. No, I am not Japanese.
However, I do, do a martial art called Aikido (Ever heard of Steven Seagle?) and I would like to go live the way the Japanese do and just get some experience in the art. Before you ask I have been doing Aikido for 5 years and am probably going to be still doing it until the day I die even if that means I live to be over 100 years.
Aikido is a wonderful form of martial arts. But do not let Steven Seagle's flashy moves influence you to go live in Japan! You can get as good if not better in Aikido training else where. Also all marital arts are great for fitness and such, but that is all it is good for. Especially with 140lbs guy carrying a Glock.
Steven Seagle is a TERRIBLE ACTOR.. I refuse to watch any of his movies!
However, his Aikido is very effective, I assure you. Just to inform you he is an 8th degree black belt which is beyond brilliant. No one can get past 4th degree black belt without a recommendation from the Doshu, which is basically the current grandmaster. If you had to meet Steven Seagle on the street and point a knife or a gun at him he WILL defend himself and you WILL be in lots of pain as you have not learned how to accept a self-defense move that is being performed on you!
The majority of martial arts are good for fitness, however, Aikido, which is also good for fitness is a martial art that DOES NOT require you to be fit. It is basically a martial art which re-directs your opponents momentum back onto themselves. Under no circumstances are you allowed to use any form of strength in Aikido.
People may disagree with this but in my mind Aikido is the one and only martial art that can dominate any other martial art or fighting style.
I assure you that Steven Seagle's 'flashy moves' have not influenced me at all!
I wish to live in Japan because for me it will be a place where I can define myself better as a human being.
If you are interested about Aikido you should research it a bit, and trust me, the results you will find will astonish you.
To summarise Aikido up: It is a martial art that re-directs you opponents momentum back onto themselves by using absolutely 0 strength but by rather using your center of gravity!
I appreciate you have studied Aikido for 5 years. At my age, I was practicing Aikido when Morihei Ueshiba was still alive. It is an effective martial art form, but practice of it will not define who you are. If you let it, you are no more than a "chump" following a path that some dead Jap laid out based on his passion for a fighting style he invented. You must first find yourself and know what it is you want to be, before entering a path that you are unfamiliar with and not be another person who has a lost soul syndrome. Some lost souls goes searching for something that they think will define who they are because they don't have an identity of their own, nor the clarity of purpose for them self.
There is only "1" way to gain such clarity. That is study, educate yourself, read a ton, and/or suffer in the streets living alone starving for a few years, then you will eventually find out what and who you want to be and most importantly, what you "want" to do with your self. Last thing you want is to find your self after traveling across the continent, spending all your fortune, and look up at some nasty Jap with crooked teeth in a smelly dojo smelling foot odor for the rest of your life making minimum wage surviving day to day looking to apply your skills where there is no relevance. And have some Jap tell you to go clean the floor and go eat left over sushi or worse, Udon (for the 20th time this month) because it is all you can afford to eat.
Then one day you see a man with a beautiful wife and two children and say to yourself, what was I thinking...
